Rios is the better fight for Pac for mutiple reasons.

Above all, though, Rios' style is one in which Pac is able to look dominant against and perhaps regain some of his lost momentum, particularly in the eyes of the casual fans.

 

i totally agree with that. pac needs motivation to fight nowadays. u saw his performances against mosley and bradley, he wasnt up to it. jmm sparked a fire in his arse again. we havent seen that pacquiao since cotto

The guy has a controversial win over Pac-man and is undefeated with a number of good wins on his resume.

I don't question his motivation as much as I recognize Pac's trouble with fighters who primarily operate off their back foot. JMM, Mosley and Bradley were able to neutralize Pac's attacks with their lateral movement.

Rios doesn't possess such a skillset (maybe he does and elects not to ultilze it, idunno) He's a pressure fighter who only moves forward. Pac feasts on those kinds of fighters which is why I believe that it's the best fight for him to regain some confidence and momentum.

I'm not suggesting that Pac can't win against JMM or other fighters with similar styles. He's obviously proven that he can have success against those guys. He's just not anywhere as effective as he is against pressure fighters.

 

The style is taylor made for Pac and a KO would get everyone hyped up. Does he want a puncher straight away. Avenge a loss against Bradley who isn't a big puncher. I prefer the Rios fight but Arum might save that for later

i think if he fights like he did in the 1st 6 rounds against jmm he knocks bradley out but i dont want to see him fight rios if his punch resistance hasnt gone he beats him easy he is tailor made for pac. i would like to see jmm fight bradley an i no people dont see the point no more but i would like to see the pac floyd fight but am not sure if pac should fight jmm agen.

 

marquez v pacman 5 doesnt make more money than floyd vs manny even at this juncture lol this old man just doesnt want floyd to make money off his fighters, or maybe that stadium is still waiting to be built
