After being defeated by Mayweather, Marquez went on to beat p4p #2 on points and then he knocked manny out cold in his third show at welterweight

That fight was a tuneup for Floyd. It was a notable win because of Marquez's name only. However, Mayweather barely excerted himself. All of his sparring sessions leading up to that fight were more grueling than the fight itself.

It is a great win. Although everyone bashed it. The fact is that JMM was num2 p4p and felt that he can beat Mayweather.

JMM is a FAB 3 of our generation with Floyd and Manny. Tough as nails, he is a lot stronger than most people give him credit for. He lacks the speed but makes up with his boxing IQ.

JMM was fighting several classes above his weight level, and Floyd still came in overweight.

Let Floyd fight Andre Ward, and see how it goes.

Styles make fights, real boxers know this. If you put a boxers entire career on one win you are simply a fool who does not understand the sport.

    :rofl

Funny how everyone here seems to have forgotten that Mayweather cheated JMM at the weigh-in.

according to *******s that cotto that pac fought at a catch weight was a lot better than the one floyd fought. And 40 year old JMM version that Pac recently fought is a lot better than the 36 year old version that Floyd fought.

They only see **** for pac.

    :huh Don't understand this one.

The weight for the Pac-Cotto fight was contractually stated months in advance and both followed its requirements.

Floyd cheated someone at the weigh-in, because he wanted to, illegally, against a person who had never fought above 135 before.
