I agree with much of what you said here. However, I do think Broner may end up being near the top in the next few years. But based on his resume, he ain't there yet. I do think watching a guy fight, and what the perception of his talent is, does factor in for the voters. Not saying it should or shouldn't be that way.

My take is that it's the highest regarded fighters, regardless of weight. High regard is not mythical. The goal of becoming one of the highest regarded fighters in a sea of dozens and dozens of recognised world titlists is one that can drive the best to be even better. And the Ring's list has long been the most highly regarded p4p list and therefore its credibility reflects on the sport in general and bad decisions they make with it are similarly important as the atrocious rankings and title challenging allowances from shitty sanctioning bodies you like to pick on. These things all reflect on our sport and should be provoking our scorn. That's why it should be cared about.

:think Whose mama you threaten, D? Joe's?

Wow, Broner ahead of Donaire by beating the great DeMarco, didn't know the mexican was so highly ranked P4P :nut

    Unbelievable bull****

Meanwhile it seems Mares will need to brutally KO Nonito, Rigondeaux, Salido, Chris John and PDL to at least get the 10th spot

You underestimate the cut of my jib.

Viloria threatened my dear old ma, alas to no avail. This you didn't not know, yes?

As a Broner fan.. my top 15 reads:

    1. Mayweather
    2. Ward
    3. Martinez
    4. Marquez
    5. Donaire
    6. Wladimir
    7. Pacman
    8. Mares
    9. Froch
    10. Vitali
    11. Bradley
    12. Guerrero
    13. Gamboa
    14. Vilora/ Gonzalez
    16. BRONER... even though he's probably more talented than most of these fighters.. I merit mine on resume and wins as well as skills

    Bradley is always criminally underrated.

    Bradley's Resume:
    Pacquaio
    Alexander
    Peterson
    Vasquez
    Witter
    Holt
    Abregu

His resume is better than Ward and Martinez and should rightfully be in at least the top 3.

I like Broner, but top 5? Hell no! Not yet at least. Needs to beat Gamboa or Vasquez just to make top 10 how is he top 5? Thats just wrong.

my girl is laughing at broner being at #5 she said that has to be a error she seen a decent amount of fights but I'm just now getting her into it she knows people on the pound for pound and a couple of side pieces like rig and gamboa because she sits and watchs the fights on youtube or the streams i use. the first thing she said was "WOW how is broner behind sexy sergio" i told her thats what happens when people dick ride super hard people are getting way to much credit, and we both like broner but even she knows that broner shouldn't be anywhere near #5. Its embarassing to quite frank its a sad state for boxing.

I equate broner being at #5 to massive massive dick riding, similar to people thinking lil wayne is the 2nd coming of Tupac lol

He has top 10 P4P talent but last I checked talent and/or potential is not enough to be considered for this type of list.
