Also, I checked Ward's record, and he's never faced Nathan Cleverly, so how can you say he's beaten the best guy at 175? :think

 

I was just using Dinovelvet's own argument to destroy him. Of course until these two titans meet we don't know who is the best at 175. Although Cleverly hasn't had his heart and jaw shattered.

About Dawson beating him at any weight its highly unlikely, Dawson has great physical gifts but not to much brain and is very very gun shy , simple fact that he managed to lose to Pascal(who can fight 6 rounds) tells me he Dowson doesnt have needed ring IQ to beat someone like Ward, he just doesnt throw enough sometimes thinks to much Ward would pick him apart even at 175 but i dont see Ward stopping him.

 

Ward being feather fisted is a myth. All the top opponents he faced have never been knocked out by anybody and nobody ever busted up Froch's face as bad as Ward.

 

Of course, most boxers weigh in more on fight night, but everyone knows that weight draining can have a severe negative impact on the boxer even if they put the weight back for fight night. Dawson had never been stopped then he gets into a ring with a soft punching fighter and gets dropped three times on the way to a TKO. Obviously the draining had an affect on his punch resistance as it often does.
