not much more for him to do..i mean that KO was EPIC...against an EPIC fighter.

JMM has had a great career and im not sure he can top what he has just done....there is not another high like that for him.

It absolutely would be an awesome ending to ride off into the sunset spectacularly knocking out Manny Pacquiao.

Unfortunately Marquez will get offered to much money to fight again.

that's unfair. a rematch is needed and prove it wasnt a fluke.

    4-0 is proof enough.

Did Hatton get a rematch to prove that KO was no fluke?

This. Though I believe Mayweather II is the only fight that would keep him from retiring...just too much money.

hatton was getting sonned by pac before the ko...

pac was dominating jmm before the ko...

    big difference...

anyways, i wish jmm retires to make his family happy (but lose million$), besides jmm prolly gonna lose to pac nex time and ruin a story book ending (he aint getting any younger)....

Translation: I don't want to fight Pacquiao again, because I know I am just lucky and my win is fluke. I know next time Pac will dominate me again the difference is he will no longer give me a chance to have a lucky punch.

It took him far too long to get the credit he deserved so not surprising that he doesn't want to give it up.
But the time is right for him to ride off with our gratitude. Not many 39yo's get the chance to go out like that.
I feel priveledged to have witnessed his career.

But the thing is he will not get full credit for it. Many thinks it's a fluke win. He needs to rematch Pac to prove it's not fluke.

If only he is not getting busted prior to the KO no one will think it's a fluke win, but the JMM is getting busted prior to the KO. Even his corner is having an idea of throwing the towel. JMM himself told he might go down anytime soon..
