Hes continuing to fight on BN. BBBOC always put out purse bids that one of the fighters dont want, its merely them going through the motions...

 

All Price fights have to be on Boxnation for a year apparently.

 

Strange move this. Fury isn't interested in the British and Commonwealth titles otherwise he wouldn't have vacated. This fight won't happen any time soon, not because of egos but purely because of business contracts. Fury is tied to Channel 5 and Price to BoxNation. If either fighters agrees to have the fight on the other channel then the losing channel will rip up their contract with his promoter and leave him in the ****. Hennessy and Maloney can't afford to do that at the moment because they'll have nowhere to go if they lose their current deals.

This fight will likely happen in about year on Channel 5 when Price's deal with BoxNation expires.

It should have been announced 10 days ago....I reckon its just Maloney shooting his dwarfy mouth off again. Towers in Feb :deal to seal the worst ever run to win a HW lonsdale belt outright

If Fury wants it he needs to getHennessy to win the purse bid. It could either force Price into fighting on their terms or at least make Price vacate, meaning he wouldnt hold the Lonsdale outright (something hes been quoted on multiple occasions as wanting to do).

Essentially I don't think either of the promoters have the up front cash to make the fight IMO.

 

I can see him fighting Towers too which would be incredibly stupid for Towers as he's nowhere near the level of Price.
