    Welcome Eddie.

I'm thrilled to have you here, as you are literally my second favorite American boxer. (I have a soft-spot for Wilder, despite his flaws and lousy opposition!)

Smart decision to concentrate on CW for now. You should be able to rule the division. Later on, you can of course take a shot at HW, and as a unified CW champ, you'd prolly be able to get a shot at the HW champ, should you want it. If you should lose, it wouldn't be a big negative since you've established yourself as a CW, and you just go back down again.

I think you should fight whichever opponent brings the most money, and I assume that's Huck. The main thing is to win in spectacular fashion: High work rate, lots of combos. The sport REALLY needs more excitement in the heavier divisions, and I think the networks would eat it up, but you have to make the fights fan-friendly.

Well, maybe THAT'S the answer: Pick the opponent that you think has a style that, combined with your style, will be the most fan-friendly. IMO that's Hernandez, but then again I'd save him for later, after you've built-up some hype at CW.

Someday I'd love to discuss with you, here on ESB, your thoughts on how fights actually get made. Promoters, fighters ducking each other, etc, etc. That's the tail that wags the dog, and most of us are clueless about what really goes on behind the scenes. If this is something you'd LIKE to discuss, it would be great. If not, that's cool.

    ------------

    Anyway, once again welcome.

Please try to just laugh at the many children and keyboard warriors who post here (as on any forum) and don't let them ever discourage you from posting here. There are also plenty of very knowledgable fans here, as well as former boxers such as myself. You probably know that we also have Wlad's cook / nutritionist, who goes by the name of "CHEF."

Must go to work now. Best to you, bro. Stay healthy & hungry.

Huck, Lebedev and Hernandez are the top dogs, I think you should fight one of them at some point, that would get any boxing fan excited..

You should probably start off against a solid top 10 imo..
    kayode
    Tarver
    Green
    Afo
    etc.
All good fights the fans would like to see.

You're talking about a man who has exhanged punches with perhaps the hardest puncher in boxing history.

Show some respect and grow up.

I have never been a Champers fan, but it would be f*ucking awesome to have top level boxers posting here, wouldn't it? So let's try to give a good impression

Honestly I see Chambers as beating just about everyone at CW.

For various reasons, the guys at CW I think who would have best odds against Chambers or that I would pick would be YPH (at moment best at CW), Afolabi (I think he his H2H perhaps the best), Kayode (power, craziness), and Chakiev (power, unknown quality). I think he'd be an easy favorite against all of the other guys, including guys I've always given more respect than others have in Krzystof and Huck.

Ola Afolabi would make for the most cracking fight. And he's legit top 5 at CW (RING #3).

I say beat up Guillermo Jones' ass and take his WBA title he's defended twice in 4 years. He'd come to America, as he seems to be looking to get his career cash out with the Lebedev talks and reportedly fighting in January.

Kryzstof Wlod has always been a fav of mine, and an underrated titlist. Your fighting style would work beautifully in your favor, I believe, against him. You could bring him to NJ and fight against another Pole in front of those fans? Sounds attractive.

Welcome to ESB, Chambers. Forgive the trolls and good luck!
