I think Guerrero packs a lot more power and IQ than people give him credit for. And his chin is pretty proven close-to-iron with Aydin and Berto being amongst the most powerful of the welters over the past year+.

this, trout is too big and floyd has no business at 154,

would love to see him fight timmy and his mandatories at 147 no need to venture up north of 147, he comes into the fight night at 150ish for 154 so yea..

I agree, but do you think he packs more IQ than floyd? hes not quicker than floyd and by no means is guerrero a brawler unless hes forced into one, i dont think the man can outbox floyd, maybe outwork floyd but for that hes gotta be fast enough to land on floyd.....so that activity will be useless and then again the way floyd counters and slows the fight down taking opponents weapons away, i dont think guerrero will be that busy either, guerrero will not win this fight

Guerrero is his mandatory. Anyway, I personally like this fight. However, boxing is about what the people want. If the people don't want to see Mayweather vs. Guerrero, then the fight shouldn't be made.

I think he fights Canelo on Cinco de Mayo weekend. It makes more dollars and sense.

wouldn't call Cotto a legend of the sport but fair point otherwise.

maybe not but i like cotto so i had to put him there ano he is not in the same class as floyd pac an jmm but to befair to cotto he is always willing to fight the best an i would actually like to see cotto fight marquez at 147 if he can still make the weight would be intresting to see who wins.

I think Guerrero in May is ok if he fights Canelo in Sept, and then following May should fight Pacquiao if he beats Marquez in a 5th fight in the fall of next year.

Mayweather moving back down to face a P4P fighter and #3 ranked welterweight.:good

Not much point in him facing the #2 again after schooling him in embarrassing fashion 12-0 last time.

I'll give you half credit, w/ the ODLH win
cherry-picking Cotto after he blimped and slowed himself to a lt. mid IS NOT cleaning up a division doofer....

But he DOES need to go back down to 147 because its not sustainable for a reason...
