Wow! I'm surprised how much support Carlos Molina is getting from U.K fans on twitter

you think most the crowd knew who berrara was?, most ppl in that arena were causal fans, if you go out to the average person on the street they wouldn't know who pacquiao was never mind berrara? i dont know about the south but in the midlands and the north allot of the hate against khan is racial.

I also hope Khan gets knocked out :)

Can't stand the arrogant knobhead. Plus it makes me pleased that the overhyped, media-darling who the mainstream trys to force down our throats has been an utter failure. Most overhyped and overated boxer of this generation.

Yes, but most of these people don't go out of their way to go to boxing matches to boo Khan, most of these ****ers don't know two shits about boxing, they are the same type of people who said Hatton was going to win his comeback against this Ukranian dude, then go on to beat Mayweather and Pacquiao in rematches

    you know, those types

They don't know anything about Antonio Barrera accept that he fought Prince Naseem Hamed.

Allot of people don't even know about his rivalry with Morales sp*

But they know everything about Amir Khan.

Of course Barrera was well known. He's one of the most famous fighter of the past 20 years and in the UK he's famous especially for being the guy who beat Prince Naseem Hamed. Everyone was like "Holy ****, Khan's fighting the guy who beat up and ended Naz."

Many cheered for Barrera because many wanted to see him put an arrogant, media-darling fighter in his place, again.

People booed Khan against Barrera because they wanted Barrera to win. Where's the issue with that? Why does booing Khan mean that whoever booed him is racist? Can't you dislike someone without it being because of their race, or is that the only thing to dislike about someone?

And maybe there was tension between the fans but, again, why does that have to be racial? There was tension between the Cleverly and Bellew fans, so does that mean either side hate the other? There's tension at every big fight. It happens, and Khan/Barrera was no exception.

I'm sure there was a racist Facebook page, but so what? Why does one Facebook page or a few comments on Twitter become "a large minority"? Realistically, we're talking about a few ****ing idiots who entertain each other by egging each other on. It's not a large scale thing.

A vocal minority is still a minority. I'm not denying there are pockets of racist idiots out there, but there are people like that on all sides. They're idiots, whether white, black, Asian or whatever. The majority of people are not like them, and it's such a small minority, it's not even worth talking about. Reading some of the threads on here, you'd think it was a massive problem. It's not, it's just a few ****ing idiots.

And Khan's ego is far bigger than Froch's. Froch wasn't saying he'd beat the best fighter in the world when he was still fighting guys with losing records.

Would any of you geniuses like to explain Dereck Chisora's popularity? After all isn't he an arrogant, thuggish, women beater? Why does he get a free pass when Khan doesn't?

Is Chisora popular? He isn't even popular on ESB. People take note of his fights but how many fans does he have? People paid to see Haye knock him out, nothing more.

Yet your proof is a video with 500 comments, many of them not about race and many from the same people. This is supposed to be widespread racism? Please.

Khan gets hundreds of thousands of views when his fights are shown on Sky. He's packed out arenas. There are an ignorant minority but to argue it's not a tiny, tiny percentage is completely baseless. There is no reason for that at all, it's just an ignorant assumption.

I have to agree with Jack, I think Chisora is a scumbag, but it's good to see loudmouths fight other loudmouths, ala Haye Chisora, Fury Chisora, taking into account Chisora is a good fighter, it wouldn't be the same if he was getting KO'd by nobodies in 1 obviously

I loved rooting Haye on to KO this piece of ****

khans a brit he won a silver medal for britain i just find it odd you'd abandon support for a fighter who grew up in this country for a mexican fighter legendary or not, kostay tyszu held a similar reputation but his reception was much different to what berrara got.
literally every single comment on that page was aimed against khans religion and culture, it was so bad that frank w-rren and khan had to issue legal action against facebook.
as for froch i beg to differ, khan was a 19 year old kid when he said **** like that, froch has been on record as saying he'd be able to beat leonnard, hagler and hearns in there era and he would have also taken out collins, eubank and benn before kessler beat him.
