    Welcome Eddie!!!

    Nice to have you.

I think Lebedev would be a great fight for you.

How do you expect that to change at CW considering everyone is based out of Europe? There isn't any interest in the division with American media, perhaps SHOWTIME or NBC would air a fight involving you but you're not going to get a Champion to come defend in the US against you. Germany 2x, Poland, Russia is where the belts are.

G.Jones ducked Lebedev for the 3rd or 4th time and after he backed out they finally stripped him a couple months ago. Lebedev was the WBA Interm Champ and is now the full Champion.

Well that's 4 minutes of my life I'll never get back...I'm extremely disappointed with you BE, that video was trash...out of the astonishing career that SNV had, that is all you could put together? I expect more from you, don't let this happen again...

Welcome. Looking forward to reading your insights.

I like this forum especially for the info/perspectives it has on Eastern European boxers.

    This thread on Chakhkiev:

    I found interesting.

hope to see chambers vs. Masternak
Chambers would MAKE A NICE scalp for Master

  8. I'd avoid that for now if I was Eddie. Big risk little reward. Not saying that Chakhiev would win but he's certainly as good if not better than any of the belt holders and money guys in the division.

Eddie wasn't a knockout puncher at HW but he wasn't feather fisted either. I expect he'll have respectable power at CW, perhaps even legit KO power which would make his addition to the division even more interesting. On the other hand one of his major assests at HW was a considerable speed advantage which will largely disappear against CW's. I'll be interested to see how these things may change his manner of fighting at CW.

I like Mateusz and he is a real good prospect but his defense is his biggest flaw and against a counter puncher like Eddie he would constantly be getting blasted because of the way he keeps his hands down while in the pocket.

Eddie! Most talented HW of the last decade! I just hope the big dogs at CW don't duck you. They almost certainly will for the most part, hopefully at least YP or Huck's management have enough confidence in their guys to put them in with a smooth operator like Fast Eddie. If Eddie gets the chance he'll clean up CW, I been saying that for a minute!

Big Ups on whupping the **** outa Adamek with one arm, the whole forum knows that wasn't even a close debatable fight, you won clearly! This place was up in arms about that one. Watch out for the poles there's a group of them here that will hound you to no end.

You seriously need no tuneups at this weight, you should go straight for someone recognizable if you can get them in the ring which might be the biggest problem in your CW run.

definitely a robbery of a 1 handed fighter. you dont get points for hitting gloves and air just cause you have activity, it's called EFFECTIVE aggression, Adameks aggression was ineffective and counted against him cause it led to him getting countered meaning he loses in ring generalship too. clean punching is the number 1 scoring criteria though so it doesn't even matter after clean punches are tallied. 117-111 Chambers was the right score.

I hope so! That crude, dirty yobbo needs schooling and you're the one for the job! Your schooling of Dimitrenko was one of the most enjoyable fights to watch in the last couple of years for me. Good to hear from you, champ. :good

The general consensus on this forum have always been that you would most probably rule at CW. You're doing us a favour by going down in weight. Don't know about casual "fans" but most of us, more serious ones, can't wait.
