I think he can and will do damage to Canelo's face with the connect rate he's liable to put up. The right hand is probably the best punch in boxing though I'd love to see him mix his variety up with more hooks, and uppercuts inside.

Hard to say, I think Canelo will need a stoppage in order to win honestly.

    Says who?

Just no way of knowing that at all. Mayweather is certainly well beyond his.

I am a huge Mayweather fan, but I really don't think this fight is going to happen especially not in May. I am curious to see what marquez can do now with his new frame against mayweather.

Would be funny if Floyd got KO too. The two that were suppose to fight each other end up getting ktfo. I'm hoping this is true.

My guess is if it's close and goes to a decision, Canelo "Kid Ginger" Alvarez will get the decision. I think he has a good chance of taking Floyd fairly at this point, but if they fight, I expect a Canelo victory. It's the same thing as Manny/Bradley- Arum knew that he wouldn't have Manny around for a whole lot longer, so he needed a new cash cow. Hence why Bradley got a W he clearly didn't deserve; it was simply an attempt to create a new star, only it backfired because it was too blatantly bad and because Manny is likable. As a result, everyone hates Bradley now, so he's trying to stay relevant by being a troll.

GBP is in the same situation. Floyd will not be around much longer. They need a future PPV star to carry them, and Oscar feels Kid Ginger is their man for the future. Hence, I fully expect him to get a win over Floyd (deserved or undeserved), and then become the next superstar of boxing without controversy because Floyd isn't a fan favorite like Manny is.

That being said, I feel this is close to a 50/50 fight. Floyd deserves a lot of respect for taking on a bigger, stronger, younger opponent with a conceivably difficult style for him if the fight comes off.

Nah, I'd rather see Guerrero fight Bradley and Marquez rematch Mayweather...if he doesn't retire. Then the winners fight each other.

if floyd gets knocked out, we just lost the past p4p fighters and it'll be time for someone else to take over. I got ward or canelo being the next if canelo wins.

    great fight this one.

I personally don't see it happening. But happy to be proven wrong.

I see this as a 50/50 fight. So if the odds favour Floyd, then i'll be throwing down some cash on Alvarez.
