Are there any boxing fans left on here?

If you are not excited about a potential Floyd vs Canelo fight then you should find another hobby.

And, no, it's not 'on par' with a Bradley vs Floyd fight. Give me a ****ing break.

I'm skeptical too but the groundwork is being laid for criticism if he takes it and that's ridiculous. It's like the Mosley fight when everybody said that Shane would kill him and that "i'll believe it when they are in the ring together".

It's a tough test and a ballsy fight for Floyd. If he takes it, time to give it up.

I for one wont have anything negative to say if he fights Canelo. Even though I think Floyd will win at least its not a hopelessly outmatched fighter like Guerrero.

I don't think anyone thought Mosley was going to win that fight - maybe in 2007 he would have but not in 2010, Mayweather waited 3 years to take on Shane, another masterful duck

After Pacquiao and Martinez, Canelo is probably the next best match-up - it's a Floyd fight I'd actually go out of my way to watch live.

If he fights Guerrero I'll hear the result next morning and watch a re-run like I have done for his last 4-5 fights, including Cotto who I knew was shot

The only interesting factor for Guerrero would be Floyd's age/decline. If Floyd is 60% of what he was even a couple of years ago then it's not much of a fight.

Floyd likes to make cash and I'm guessing the Canelo fight makes him 20 million or so more than a Guerrero fight so I'm hoping Haymon is pumping Floyd with that info early and often.

Age plus the fact that Guerrero is a dirty mother****er. He can make it interesting by being extra rough and aggressive, but ultimately even with Floyds slight decline hes still that much better.

Honestly aside from Pacquiao he wont make more money with anyone else than Canelo right now, hopefully he takes it but I really dont have much faith

Sorry to upset you all, But it will be Guerrero or Marquez. Two ridiculously easy fights for Floyd.

Floyd aint taking a fight as tough as this.

I'm a big Canelo fan but seriously I can't understand how anyone thinks he could win that if it happened soon.

Who the **** has he actually fought? You don't go from Josesito Lopez to beating Floyd ****ing Mayweather.

Mayweather UD written all over it

Canelo has a porous defense but hits hard. Mayweather wins by UD or if he strings the right combo with his superior speed he might even floor Canelo. I wish Mayweather would fight Martinez but I think Mayweather knows exactly who to fight and who to avoid.
