Ok, well he may as well fight gurrero then. Infact why ever match the best against the best with that attitude

Easy ud / late round ko for Mayweather. Canelo is too green right now. Has been somewhat protected / hasn't faced anyone near Mayweather's level. Imo Canelo has been fighting in spurts, taking lots of rests during the rounds. Can't see Canelo possessing the skills needed to take Mayweather out.

Canelo was getting outboxed by some joke opponent a couple fights ago.

    Good move by Mayweather.

Don't see Floyd fighting at 154 again immediately, but I guess we'll see what happens.

The opinions on this seem to be split at polar opposite ends of the spectrum.

    I know right

Out of the realistic options, there arent too many options outside of Canelo in my opinion. I just hope those glass balls dont get shattered again

    :happy:happy:happy

    I Hope this is true.

This is a real hungry young lion, not a god damn tree.

Some people will hate on this fight just because its Mayweather in it, hes giving Canelo the chance to step up and is taking on a real 154lb'er here.

As far as I'm concerned the people hating on this would hate on the fight no matter who Mayweather picked. They'll all be watching come May 4th!

Floyd sees Pacquiao KTFO and humiliated. Immediately makes Alvarez fight with no tune-up.

Few things could probably be more 'The **** Is He Doing?' to you guys.

    Martinez in September. :rofl :deal

GBP can set Canelo on legit TRT as well, if he isn't already.

How to switch PVP king for continuity. :)

Canelo really needs another stiff fight or two before he's ready. If I were his camp, I wouldn't advise him to take this fight until the end of 2013 or 2014, but I can't knock the kid's ambition.

Think Canelo's looking to milk his name as much as possible. May be a money-hungry ******* but with the way politics are in boxing I can't blame em. He's still no where near what people make him out to be and we still don't know how good or sucky he is until he steps it up against a solid fighter. Mayweather may be the best now but he's still not a 154 lb'er no matter how many belts he has there.

Still a way better fight than Guerrero-Floyd though lets not make Alvarez into something he's not, calm down and be patient. He hasn't proven he deserves the attention he gets so lets not act like he's some "dangerous" opponent. If Floyd were to beat him with ease he'll just be considered another _____(Insert either green, shot, inexperienced, bum) fighter that Floyd has beaten. Funny how people change their opinions so fast on fighters once Floyd beats em.

Don't get me wrong Floyd is blessed he's in an era of mainly dumbass fighters who don't know fundamentals or what a jab is. Can't knock his ethic or skill he's worked hard to hone both.
