purephase - i get your points but iv watched both fights and what both opponents offered is what im basing my opinion on.

No im saying its a better win because he was the better fighter beat in a more impressive manner. Rubio top 10...right...a Mexican ranked in the WBC top 10 so he can be fed to another Mexican they're hyping. I could give a **** what they're ranked by ABC orgs. I am curious who these other ranked fighters were Lee and who, Zbik? If you're counting Zbik then that says everything consider Chavez lost. If you're including Manfredo or Duddy then that also says everything regarding the merit of ABC rankings.

You do know that Sturm then went on to get beaten by Geale? Maybe his judgement isn't perfect perhaps..?

Geale went 12 rounds with Sylvester in a good fight then Proska stopped Sylvester and then Proska then went on to be absolutely destroyed by Golovkin.!!!!!

Golovkin absolutely demolished proska.Very very impressive.Stayed up in uk to wtach the fight and was just awestruck by the performance.

Proska was never thought of as a huge prospect but nonetheless euro belt holder and just utterly destroyed.Due to his own bravery will never ever be the same fighter a sbefore the fight.

I think at the division within the year Golovkin will be number 1 by a mile. The real problem he faces is who will have the courage to fight him. While hardcore fans know how good he is he is not well know enougth by the casual for martinez to justify fighting. At martinezs age names and money are the most important things which leads me to believe he will take another chavez jr fight all day long before ever facing our man.

As for those doubting his chin the guy at times spars with heavyweights im sure he will be fine lol

Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one, however how can anyone include barker in a top ten list yet reject Macklin?! Shocking/laughable

OK OK I put my hands ups and admit i was wrong about Martinez beating GGG.
If martinez got sloppy against Chavez and got dropped and got knocked out against Margarito back in the day..I think the majority of the poster would say that he hits harder than both of these. and has more boxing skill. I have to change my pick and say that GGG finishes Martinez actually quiet early probably 6-7 round. and I dont mean a TKO an actual clean knock out.
Martinez deserves to make some money and just stay right away from GGG period!
oh and another thing you keep your eyes on Proksa the same guy that got beat my hope in the first fight...:) this will gauge how good GGG really is!:bbb

He is a skilled puncher who wants to fight everyone in a pretty open division.
So I don't see why it is shameful to be a fan of this man.

He SAYS he wants to fight everyone in the division so its up to you decide whether you believe he is being truthful or not. The guy has got good power and decent skill but has not been tested once in his professional career yet we have ******s on the forum saying he can beat Martinez when he struggled to put away a blown up 154 and washed up fighter in Kassim Ouma. He has pretty much feasted on blown up light middleweights (Tapia, Ouma, Rosado, Nunez, Mamani, etc) and has fooled the ******s on this forum into thinking he can KO anyone. At least wait until he has beaten someone of note before making absurd statements about him.

Let's not even get into the absolute bull**** rumors spread by his fans of him sparring and knocking down heavyweights. He is good, but not as good as most of his idiot fans make him out to be. I actually enjoy watching GGG fights but his idiotic and uneducated fan base have really over hyped the guy to a ridiculous point

Honestly, I think he can beat the top middleweights however they can also beat him, which is a concept that his pathetic fans don't want to hear. He is no where near as fast as his fans make him out to be and I can name you 5-7 other middleweights much faster than him. His footwork is average and has a poor work rate seeing as a washed up Ouma was able to out outmaneuver and outwork him till he gassed. The Proksa fight showed his flaws in his defence and someone like Martinez would take advantage of these flaws. His only real asset that makes him stand above the rest of the middleweights is his power and I'm yet to see him verse someone with semi-decent defence and can hit back.

See more of the same dribble but short on specifics when explaining how Geale would exactly defeat Golovkin.
