I dunno Icey, I have a gut feeling that Frank wants this fight, he fancies Rickys chances & hes going to make it happen! Its a leap of faith I know, but I think hes going to strike a deal, & Ricky will be fighting Broner in the USA the first half of next year.
I totally disagree on both counts. However if it doesnt happen, it will be as Icemax says, down to Frank not having the financial clout anymore, & NOT Frank having no faith in Burns:nono
I know that Burns wants it, and I wouldn't be surprised if Frank wants it as the fight would put him back on the map but he'll have to re-mortgage the house to make it happen
Yet more evidence of your mental limitations. Why SHOULD the fights happen in the US? Broner isn't a star in any way, shape or form, except on HBO. He doesn't get big ratings and he can't sell tickets.
Broner is yet another fighter who is being forced on the public by HBO. His credentials don't yet demand star billing alongside the likes of Pacquiao and Marquez. Nowhere near in fact.
Burns will be the away fighter against Broner and FW is his promoter so how does he come in to play i though Morrison was his manager surely its up to him to negotiate with Goldenboy the best deal to get Burns to states and fight Broner what outlay in money would Frank have, surely Goldenboy say we will give Burns X amount to come and fight Broner
Broner hasn't improved at all - he's just been given static opponents that suit his particular style. As Flea has said a few times, his footwork is awful. Soon as he faces someone who's more mobile, he'll look terrible again.
I wasn't talking about Broner. Truth be told I haven't seen enough of him to have an informed opinion. I was talking about Khan.
:deal Broner cant move about the ring, he's static. Abril and Burns are 2 clever technical boxers with the tools to beat Broner. I think both make him look bad.
You see here we go again with people keep trying to suppress Broner and discredit him. After the next fight it'll be something new, rinse and repeat. You wont accept it till its absolutely in your face and he has beaten all "your boys". Before DeMarco it was this and that, after the easy work, it was this and that. This **** aint gonna stop! We already know what one of the excuses is gonna be in the future, and you will go completely full circle, "Nothing to be ashamed of losing to Broner"....and you will be paying the £15.99's to watch the fights. :tired Because thats how the :tired work :good Broner and his team got you right where they want you, hatin' but payin' :hey After every fight something else crops up to try and downplay what he did. I've seen and heard this **** all before, and I'm no fan of Broner!!! You'll keep getting proved wrong and disappointed, he will keep improving and getting better the harder the competition gets. Trust me. If you open your eyes, you'll realize this isnt just any other ordinary fighter, this is a fighter with the best team and politics a sold soul fight could ever want or need. If Broner loses a single fight in his entire career, I will be well and truly shocked. Yes he has flaws, but even his master had a few to begin with, Broner is still the apprentice while the master is still about. Those rough edges only get better with age and experience. I know this because I've seen the growth of both fighters, and nothing tells me this aint gonna happen again with Broner. He is the heir to the HBO throne and the next in line. Whether you like it or not, you better believe it.....some complain about the tickets and numbers, give it another year or two and he'll be headlining events as a mega star making bucket loads of $, they are in the process of building him up and managing the image. All the :tired will be buying fights that they said they wouldnt, but they fall for the magicians tricks like all the rest! He has got the mouth, got the skills, and most importantly of all, he has got the Hay-team. And you WILL pay to see him, the same people that said they wouldnt.
