David Haye vs RJJ - Prime - Cruiserweight/Heavyweight

RJJ would not be able to take a good shot from Haye. Sure he's fast, but he can't go the entire fight without getting hit. If glen Johnson and Antonio tarver knocked him out (cue past prime, weight issue excuses), Haye will.
I think some folk here are forgetting how hard Haye hits. Stopped chisora (vitali, fury, helenius couldn't). Stopped Ruiz ( first since Tua).

 

Roy was good, but his chin didn't match his skill. Haye is not a slow fighter, plus he has KO power. I believe Roy would of got KOd.

Forget Glen Johnson etc.

The keyword here is prime.

If Roy had've gone upto cruiser or heavy at 28/29 and fought Haye, how would Haye cope with Roy's blinding speed?

Haye has based his style on Roy.

Would David try and walk through him, or would he be very cautious?

Of course if Haye landed flush it would be over. But would he have got the opportunity?

Would he have committed himself to go looking for it?

Haye hasn't got the best of chins either.

If Roy landed a few clean shots of his own, how would that have affected David's approach?

Roy is better in every department, but Haye has the advantage in power.

I don't think it would be as clear cut, as what most people are saying.

I think Roy's recent knockouts are affecting people's decisions.

We know Haye it's harder than Tarver, Johnson and Lebedev etc.

But I think Roy's speed would get David's respect and make him cautious.

That's why I said Cruiserweight division too. RJJ on his best day against Haye may have a chance at Cruiserweight. Both are quick.
