    hahahahahahaha

Look at all these idiots that was fooled by this hype job.

Mitchell almost got KO'd in one round by Chazz Witherspoon, he obviously wasnt the next big thing

    And he did it.

Emanuel Steward would be very proud of him.

Mitchell was half-heartedly hyped, but let's be honest, he was no Sam Peter. He wasn't even as hyped as Arreola.

America's best HW of the past several years is now a CW.

Props to Banks on defying the odds.

He played it perfect. Just defensive enough to set that trap, find that counter opportunity and change the fight and finish it.

    Hella props.

    Who nex?

    Probably Fres Oquendo or Mormeck.:think

Banks looked bored throughout the whole proceedings including post fight , like he knew he was gonna win no problem. maybe that's the way he always is, just really cool headed. didn't think it was an upset though. after watching Banks's recent fights and seeing Mitchell almost on his ass from Witherspoon I figured Banks'd get the job done. use your own eyes instead of the bull**** media

Damn. I heard they are doing it all over again?

That's one hell of a rematch. Hopefully it will end up as a mainevent.

Glad to see 2 top American heavies back on HBO.

Wlad trying to salvage Mitchell as an US opponent, since he won't fight his coach

Why? Is the money enough to make a fight vs a guy he won't be able to grab once.
I mean, even if Wlad deploys the jab, jab grab method, Mitchell will be counting sheep from the follow-up jab.

Imagine Wlad feints the jab and throws a blistering laser guided straight R hand right up the middle. The fights over with the first landed shot. :rofl:rofl:rofl

It's clearly a money maker for Jonathan. Mitchell still has HBO money behind him, and with the win over Mitchell in the first fight, Jonathan will get a better split of the revenue and another easy nights work.

NTM, the win will push him up the WBC rankings, and potentially in position to fight for the vacant title should Vitali retire. Strictly business, as Im sure Wlad isn't hoping Mitchell captures lighting in a bottle and redeems himself against his friend.:think

This isn't a cynical move by Wlad who secretly wants his coach to lose so he can fight Mitchell in the US, it's just Johnathon Banks making better money as HBO tries to redeem Mitchell's reputation. Mitchell would rather fight for the WBC that Vitali will eventually vacate than any of Wlad's belts anyway.

Wlad has nothing to do with JB fighting Mitchell again..... this is all HBO trying to save mitchell and all they have put into him... plus i thought i heard there was a rematch clause anyways
