When is the last time a UFC event brought out a Presidential candidate?

Pacquaio was supposed to win a closley contested decision, and neither guy was supposed to get hurt.

That would have been the best possible outcome.

If a guy got dropped on one of the atrocious undercards, that would have been alright, but a star like Pacquaio hitting the deck hurt the sport.

Pacquaio abandoned the gameplan and sealed his own fate, and he should have improvised, especially considering Marquez was on roids, but it didn't happen.

The truth is, Marquez is on his way out. He looked done in his last fight, and he can't roid up for every fight in his career or he will risk destroying his body.

People don't really care about Marquez the way they care about Pacquaio. Marquez is not a PPV star. He's an old fighter on the way out, that cheated to win.

Regardless, of this fact, which it is, my point is, I don't think people realize the impact of the way it went down for Pacquaio.

Anyway, hopefully they both recover, especially Marquez who was juiced to the eyeballs, so he could absorb a broken nose and a concussion, even though a 38 year old, iron chinned Mosley couldn't handle a single shot.

With any luck, although it's highly doubtful, but props to Mayweather if takes the fight, Canelo will "Pacquaio" Mayweather, and they can both fight eachother.

In the press conference they can argue about who's knockout was worse.

At the end of the day, despite Marquez bein roided like a mother ****er, Pacquaio slipped up.
