 Just to sum it up. He basically just said he is happy he got the win and that he knew once he connected he could end the fight. Loose translation.

Finally now some decent people have a reason to fight him. Until tonight no one had a reason to take a high risk low reward fight vs a big punching scary dude with little hype and little money on the table, this big KO on Showtime will completely change everything for Wilder, now he'll be a showtime regular and he'll have a bit of hype behind and more money on the table, I'm guessing they'll be able to get someone decent in there next time.

I'm telling you all. Deontay is a very nice person. Met him in tuscaloosa, he does a lot of public appearances there, and was very cool. Played Wii boxing with him. Nice guy, grounded and down to earth.

The opposition needs to stay the same until he raises his level of ability. He is still fairly remedial in his skill right now. Slow feet, doesn't jab well, no defense. He does seem to have power. He might need new trainers, because they aren't getting much out of him. He is supposed to have been a Bronze medalist. He looks like he just started boxing a few months ago.

That's the problem he's been giveb too many chances. Time to catch a plane, get to Europe and put him in with some proper HW contenders. Enough of all these basketball drop outs please!

    I agree.

2nd biggest was probably Senchenko over Hatton. Cotto vs. Trout wasn't ever supposed to be a mismatch, even for those who picked Cotto.
