floyd might pick Khan to fight, but I doubt it. Floyd knows Khan is fast and might be tough, and Floyd does not want anyone who has any chance to beat him.
Some Americans are still butthurt over calzaghe The constant threads prove that, even though Calzaghe retired years ago
he can knock guys out. He uses a jab and gets guys to come to him and he hits them coming in, he could knock out anyone. His problem is he has no fight plan. Same as Jermaine Taylor. Great handspeed but never a fight plan.
Khan has to change completely if he were to do that. He has a tendency to land punches and try to keep landing, and he would probably get into a war with Rios. If he could use his jab and fight like Kalambay for 12 rounds he could win easily. I just don't think he has the discipline. He has the skill.
so in other words, you're accusing of Floyd of cherry picking and ducking Amir Khan :rofl:roflatsch http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=335841
Rios is so one dimensional it aint true. If Khan stays smart Rios ends up looking like a blind man tryin to hit a pinyada!
What does khan actually have going for him as a fighter at world level? No power, no accuracy, no IQ, no defense, no chin. Anyone with ANY power can end him with just a left hook...doesn't look good does it. There's not a prayer of him becoming the man at 140 again
He's not meant to be "scared", he's meant to outbox him, which Khan has showed that he's capable of. He needs at least 1 or 2 more tuneups under Virgil, and then he's ready imo. I could be wrong though, but Khan deserves props for at the very least going into this guys backyard and beating him, no matter how outclassed he was.
Your probably right Or maybe now that Pac looks to be on the wane he will finally grow the balls to fight him.
Judah, Malignaggi, he hurt Maidana. He has power which is generated from his speed. But he makes fights 50/50 when he trades. If he uses his jab and gets guys to reach in he can get some nice knockouts. The potential is there. His problem is his game plan and discipline. And I doubt he will fix those things this late in his career.
