Danny Garcia could also be Fighter Of The Year 2012.

    - Erik Morales 2x - UD, KO 4.
    - Amir Khan - TKO 4.

Yeah, because 2 victories against the washed up corpse of a former great are really something to write home about :patsch

But I guess Danny's victory over ATG Khan who was coming off an impressive victory over Peterson is enough to make him FOTY

Ok Morales was past his prime but still a great win against Khan which Garcia was the Huge under dog.

¨past his prime¨ is an understatement regarding Morales :-(

Josesito was a huge underdog against Ortiz, Guerrero was a massive underdog against Berto. I dont see anyone claiming they should be FOTY

If one great win is enough to make you FOTY then i'd rather give it Marquez

Donaire Fighter of the Year by a MILE, even if he didn't fight again this year after Nishioka.

Donaire last 2 fights were against smaller senior citizen.

He needs to learn how to respect his elders.

Congrats to Donaire, but JMM deserves to be FOTY more.

A devastating KO win over an ATG like Pacquiao >>>>>>>>> KO victory over a shot Arce, TKO over an old Nishioka, and an SD and UD against Vazquez jr and Mathebula

the running in the fighter of the year should be donaire or marquez. honorable mention is leo santa cruz. i think he fought even more than donaire this year. the commentators said 5 times in 2012.
