I agree with you. Most entertaining night of boxing I have seen in a while despite a bunch of part timers banging the **** out of each other. Worst fight was the pro fight Jo Parker v Richard Tutaki. Any one of the rugby league/union boys could have put on a better show.

Daniella Smith v Eagle fight was also good.

Most people aren't and that's the point

Boxing purity and technicality doesn't interest regular folk :dead

until the few real boxing fans left realize that technical, high calibre fights are boring as **** to the uninitiated, then boxing is always destined to continue losing

wide open road is bang on the money in his observations.

most people want to see henched up meat heads throwing stupid punches. professional boxing is too sanitized for the average man, they'd rather see some ufc or some amateurs from another sport, or just celebrities, slugging it out in the rin

What a load of **** you absolutely hate the sport and the only reason why attended a world title bout was because the chicken you had your dick stuck in was a fan . Wanker

mate EVERY, and i MEAN every, NRL club has one or 2 kids on their list that could become world class heavyweights.

whats not to like? get more RL kids into boxing. if it sells boxing, and diverts a talent pool to our sport, im all for it. bums on seats. media interest, and a chance of getting a few more heavies with world title aspirations. whats not to like?:huh

Mate 9 out 10 footballers don't make it as boxers.I'm all for improving boxing but it just shits that our tru e boxers are gettin 2500 for winning Australian titles and blokes like sbw fight for 250000 and it was rumored Barry hall was going to get anywhere up to 500000 for his fight

Agrees with Sydney2000, im not a big fan of these shows. I think it waters down the sport, degrades it etc. Its pro boxing, leave it to the pros, if you wanna do a sideshow circus then do one by all means but dont flog it off as a pro boxing night.
