We don't know hoe much Floyd weighed against Marquez ,one thing we do know is he didn't allow himself to be weighed by the unofficial scales on fight night.

I know, but he didn't look much smaller than Mosley or Cotto, and did look quite a bit bigger than JMM. Either way, you can't say he was 4lbs heavier than JMM if the weights are not available.

Agreed, but people put too much emphasis on weight. Look at Valuev outweighing people by 100lbs.

Floyd is a little dude. Is he slightly bigger than JMM, yes but only slightly. That doesnt explain the level of domination in this fight.

I wasn't trying to do that, just trying to get the facts down. But it was obvious even to casual viewers that Marquez didn't manage his weigh climb properly. I doubt he could ever beat Floyd bar a lucky punch, but he'd put up a better fight under this S&C coach, with more speed training. It's a bad style matchup for him though, and not a fight that sells itself unlike Pac 5.

    That's not unreasonable for a 154er. Wasn't Ortiz 165 for a welter fight?

Great win, Floyd comes off a big layoff and dominates a guy that beats and is robbed by an active Pacquiao

According to the camps, Floyd weighed 152(big by his standards) and JMM weighed 148.

    Which would seem about right.

    Floyd weighed 150 against Ortiz

The camps said 148 and 152,which seems right.

Everytime Floyd has weighed in on the night hes weighed in around 150.

He was 150 against Ortiz for example

Marquez did not prepare for this fight thats the proble. He looked the worst that I have seen him and at the time I thought it was because he had to jump to 147 from 135 but each time he fought Pac he was in best shape.

And if juan would have beaten a drained mayweather who isnt 100%, what would it prove exactly?

    What credit would juan get?
