    Doubt it.

Khan will be out till March due to his hands and then will take on Garcia vs Judah winner.

Lopez would **** Khan up. Straight up. They should avoid this fight. He's about the same height, has a decent reach, good enough chin to walk through Khan's shots, has a bit of pop himself, and has the heart of a lion. If Khan doesn't get stopped, he suffers a fight that's similar to the one he endured against Peterson.

Styles make fights, Rico. Just because he endured Ortiz's onslaught does not mean it would work the same way.

His fights with Vargas and Canelo* showed where he's beatable. To say he ****s him up is just based on the imagination of thought with Lopez being a guy who'd probably pressure Khan, but Lopez would have just as much to deal with.

:good Exactly why I mentioned those attributes:

'He's about the same height, has a decent reach, good enough chin to walk through Khan's shots, has a bit of pop himself, and has the heart of a lion'

I'll need to watch the Vargas fight again to remind myself how he looked, but I do remember him winning that one. And the Canelo fight doesn't really apply here, seeing as though Khan won't be a junior middleweight with unfair size/power advantages. I've seen enough of Lopez to know he's not afraid to throw decent combinations (with good speed and power) in the midst of exchanges -- something which Khan falls victim to -- to get to his man. And as mentioned, he's durable and brave enough to last the full 12 rounds against any junior welterweight.

    Seriously, he's a bad matchup.

lopez would knock him out, when khan doesn't enjoy size advantage and cant match the other guys physical strength he gets bullied i could see khan getting bullied and stopped, lopez's punch are quite snappy as well.

For 140lbs.. Josesito has very respectable power.. it's a dangerous match up for Khan but you can only make a name if you fight the best.. if he keeps fighting Molinas then you won't get anywhere

I think it's a good fight, and if Khan doesn't fight like a complete ****** it's also a very winnable one for him as well. If Khan beats Lopez convincingly it'll also send out a big statement.

Think Khan would decision him. Not sure Josesito is that big a puncher and by sticking to the outside I don't believe he presents much of a puzzle.

Josesito will cause Amir some problems, and I'm not big on Josesito.

Wouldn't be undersized, pretty fluid offensively, game, decent left hand. EDIT: RICO makes some good points here. I personally think those attributes will make it a decent contest, not necessarily a bad one for Khan though.

Not much pop but he'll land some clean work.

Should be a really fun fight.

Any more of a dig than Josesito and Khan is in trouble. Here, just a bit of trouble I imagine. Can't see Khan overwhelming Lopez, seems a tough nut.

Haven't seen Lopez's fight with Jesse Vargas, how did that go? Few times I've seem Vargas I was not impressed.

Incidentally, that fight went exactly how one with Khan would go, I think. From what I remember, Vargas was surviving and being chased by Lopez who was the aggressor.

*Note, I can't remember much from it and I wasn't really paying that much attention to it.

Khan loses a close decision against a guy who tested +ve for drugs and was the victim of overzealous referring then gets KO'd but all of a sudden loses to gatekeepers like Lopez? Come on, Khan is a former unfied titlist. Just because Lopez has a bit of heart does not mean he beats Khan as many are confidently predicting.

Lopez got brutally smashed by Alvarez and was losing clearly against Ortiz until he got a bit of luck with the jawbreaker.

Lopez would struggle massively with Khan's speed, Lopez doesn't hit as hard as Maidana or Judah in my book.

    Khan via stoppage for me.

Lopez would ko Khan, Lopez throws wild punches that will catch Khan he has more power than Molina but not as much as Garcia, think he would keep hurtin Khan and would knock him down a few times before stoppin him, wont be like the Garcia or Prescott one where Khan is out on his feet as much
