Both Price and Fury beat him. The yanks are over-rating their heavyweights because they're desperate for an American to win a world heavyweight title again after so long without one.

A year ago it was Seth Mitchell this and Seth Mitchell that, look what's become of him. Wilder isn't that good.

    Why's that then?

David Price is also a right hand dominant, one trick pony.

Price has a weak chin, Wilder has a weak chin, both of them have big right hands, both are tall, David Price has a better jab, but Wilder is more naturally athletic, has more length and is slightly quicker. David Price got caught by Tom Dallas several times, and took a couple of rounds to get him out of ther.

If Tom Dallas can land, why can't wilder?

Tyson Fury on the other hand is much better than both, has lateral movement, better foot-speed, can punch with both hands and switch stances, better jab, inside game, need I go on.

Tyson Fury can have a decent gameplan to beat Wilder based on his natural attributes, he jabs his way inside, and once inside he beats wilder up

Price on the other hand, what's he going to do? Stand on the outside like he did against audley, and hope he lands first.

Price is barely more proven than Wilder at the moment, toss a coin on that one

So come on mr "limited boxing knowledge", lets see what you've got then, rather than calling other people out

:patsch How can you say he stood on the outside, the fight lasted 80 seconds?

He also beat Dallas easily, you're going to get hit thats the nature of the sport. Wilder has been hit more and knocked down by worse opponents.

There has never been any fight you can point to where Price has fought inside.

And I don't fancy Prices chances when "getting hit" by Wilder who appears to have savage power in his right hand.

As I said, if Price can land first then it's his fight, but its not a given.

 that is some amount of dross! Some embarassing points made in it though. Tom Dallas?! What has that got to do with anything? If you think him vs Price has anything in common with how he would fight vs Wilder, God help you. They couldn't be more different if you tried. And Price fought on the outside vs Audley? :rofl If commanding the centre of the ring whilst your opponent circles around you for 90 seconds is considered outside fighting these days, I must have missed that one. It's nice that you've tried to back up one of your odd sweeping statements for once Earl but I can now see why you weren't so keen on doing it before. There's some classic lack of understanding of boxing in there.

I'll give you my take on it though as you want it. I've seen nothing but sloppiness in Wilder's technique. In his movement, his punch form, his punch selection etc. Sure, his record looks nice and has obviously impressed you but to compare him to someone who's been a World class amateur and hasn't put a foot wrong as a pro is pretty ignorant on your part. But hardly surprising.

Price's jab is far better and more authorative than anything Wilder possesses and like in most hypothetical matchups with him, his natural height and reach advantage makes it an eveen more important punch. I'd love to know how you think Wilder would get round it to land on Price? All I see is someone who loads up on seriously wide looking punches and leaves himself massively open when doing so. Fighters with powerful and accurate straight punches as Price does have a field day against boxers like Wilder, especially when they can dictate the range.

You say Wilder is more "naturally athletic and slightly quicker" (debatable but that's irrelevant anyway). How is that going to benefit him vs Price? If he can't get inside the jab and right hand, what's he going to do? Off the basis of what I've seen from Wilder, he's just looking to lunge in with his punches. Fine against a nobody who's not looking to counter. But we've already seen Price dissect people who try to do that, such as McDermott who was caught with that uppercut when trying to jump in against him. You also seem to dismiss Price's defence. Whenever people have looked to back him up, bar the odd occasion, he's been able to block those wild, wide hooks that Wilder likes to throw quite comfortably. Going back to that hilarious point on Dallas, how does him landing 1 or 2 punches in any way suggest Price is going to be put in trouble by someone like Wilder? I know you're clutching at straws to make out Price has been in trouble before, but honestly don't just make completely irrelevant comparisons up Earl? It makes you look even stupider than usual.

Both Fury and Price are far more techinally correct and superior boxers to Wilder. Only an idiot would deny that.

    Stupider is not a word.

I think the fact that Tom Dallas was able to land on Price is quite meaningful, as it means the only fighter near his height, as a last minute replacement, and who is basically a club fighter was able to penetrate that "defense" you were going on about.

Prices defense consists of keeping a basic guard up, and moving ungraciously out of range, it's not that impressive really, and it's not like he can counter off the back-foot with any consistency, which is why Skelton was able to casually stroll inside.

You say Price is going to fight "differently" against Wilder, but to be quite honest, every time price fight's it's the same.

Wilder may be a limited, one trick pony, in fact I believe he is, but the fact is if he lands his right hand, you are in trouble. and I don't believe Price has magically grown a chin since the amateur days.

It's always the same with Price fans, as soon as you criticize him they come out from under their rock "You aint gon no boxing knowledge and youre stupider than ever".

All I'm saying is it's likely to be a shootout type affair and I'm not sure who get's home first, if it's wilder, Price will be knocked out.

Price fans arguments are always based on speculatives, he'd suddenly "box different" against Wilder, maybe now Price has developed good punch resistance etc etc.

I'm just going off what I've seen of both and I stick to it being a case of who lands first.

If you think you saying I've got no "boxing knowledge" is somehow going to offend me, then you are sorely mistaken as I have no intention of proving my knowledge to a bunch of faceless usernames on a boxing forum, i'm here to discuss things and i'm not falling in for the David Price hype just yet, thank-you very much.

Please point out where I said he would fight differently because I didn't. Everything I've said is based on what we've already seen and I've acknowledged that. So don't put words into my mouth to try and discredit my argument. By the way, I didn't say you had 'limited boxing knowledge' solely because you think Wilder beat Price. It's bad enough like but it's more an accumulation of garbage posts that I and everyone else have read of yours on here. Regarding that last paragraph, why do you even use ESB then if you don't want to talk boxing? That seems odd.

You still haven't explained how you think Wilder can make it "a shootout type of affair". All you've done is make predictions without either backing them up as usual or by making ridiculous comparisons with fighters that Wilder has nothing in common with.

You obviously have some sort of an agenda against Price because you can't answer any of these points I'm putting to you and just blindly predict him to lose any fighter mentionned. I'm not going to even bother trying to debate it with you any longer

I didn't say "i'm not here to talk boxing" I'm just not here to "prove my boxing knowledge" to random idiots like you.

And good, it's tiresome dealing with you Price fans, I think you buy a little too much into the hype when it comes to him, too much fixation on his positives, and a complete and utter disregard to his flaws.

    Good day to you, sir.

Why is it everyone arguing with me about Price is from liverpool, i've never had so much interaction with the scouse crew until Price came along ffs.

Scousers are well known for being confrontational and argumentative.

David Price is our biggest prospect (Maybe Tony Bellew). Scousers are also superior to any other nationality.

    Good on you.

You know i'd LOVE for Price to be champion and be the truth, everyone knows im a biased brit and I don't care where the Brit is from.

I'm just not sold, you are, supporting the hometown lad nothing wrong with that.

but it's pointless arguing with you on it

Whatshisface goes on about "boxing knowledge" but the fact of it is, I can spend all day doing 3000 words on my opinion, and it's not going to change his, is it.

Good luck with Price, hope he works out well

Price easily, Wilder looked god awful against Kelvin Price who was off balance and had poor defence throughout the fight and even he landed a few on Wilder, David Price would take him out early.
