No. His eye orbital bone was shattered and the eye was pushed backwards, deeper into the socket (sometimes this is referred to as being out of the socket). Am internal splinter of bone then punctured the eye.

They're talking about a blowout fracture. That's something entirely different from an eyeball "popping out of the socket" like in a monster movie or something. Look it up if you don't know what it is.
