Abril is no De Marco different creatures, abril wont stand there offering his chin he`ll keep his distance and use his long reach and movement and no broners cheeky grin wont entice Abril to trade.

 

As is with all Wazza fighters, fight a hundred million euro bums in the UK followed by a few fights with faded legends and claim greatness. Say what you will about Naz and Khan, they went to the states in their youth and had a go, even though they got beat (in Khan's case, badly), they had a go (as did Froch and Hatton for that matter).

At no point in the article does it say that he won't fight him.

However it does say he wants to have another fight first.

Where's the problem in this? i think they will both have another fight, then we'll see them fight in about april/may time.

People saying he is ducking, well, clearly are not reading the article, or are simply looking for things that are not there.

Ricky fears nobody, and if you ask me, is doing the sensible thing by having another fight first.

 

By taking more time, all he's doing is giving Broner the opportunity to improve that brutal footwork of his.

Plus, he's in the prime of his life, nearly 40 fights under his belt.

Not sure a knockover job against a TTG will help much.

 

I think it's wise that burns has a warm up next before broner, as long as its against someone right for the preperation, someone fast and durable.

His management need to pick the right opponent for the job and stick with it.

Plus he has the WBC strap around his waist, with the ring sniffing around his a-hole. The belt your boy holds aint nothing compared to the WBC, WBC is THE belt, all divisions should be put back to only one world title, forcing all the fighters to fight one another, because if you dont, then you dont get a shot of your dream as a world champ. I think its a joke when you have all these "world champions" in the same division. Just narrow it back down to the WBC. WBO aint got **** on the WBC strap.

You may not like it, but "big" fights tend to happen in the US now. (I dont personally think the fight is that big, the fanboys do, the same fanboys that think it should be on their fighters terms)

Your man should be excited for the chance to travel and fight in the US. This is the pinnacle, this is where the money is, if you want to become world renowned in the lower weights, the US is where its at. Its where the money is.

Broner aint saying he dont want to go Scotland, the fact is, he doesnt NEED to and he shouldnt. The fight is in the US, take it or leave it. And I agree with Broner 100% on this.
