He would be transferring Roach services to Nacho or Robert Garcia.

I can see him going over to Garcia, but don't see Nacho picking him up. One thing for sure, they need to keep Sr. out of the training camps.

What does it matter if he's only going to train in his living room...

    That's the plan^ (Keep Sr's involvement to a minimum)
Obviously keeping Chavez in Mexico is not the best idea, IMO.
(+ Nacho would not put up w/Jr's training HRS)

Drag his ass down here & give Robert a chance to work with him.
There would be no barrier in language & Garcia would not take his ****.
    (Bring Ariza along??)

THIS^^^ that drove me crazy! who the hell trains for a fight with Sergio Martinez at midnight in their living room?! Chavez sr on the treadmill worked harder than Jr for that fight and he smoked cigarettes hahaha. Seriously though when i saw him waking up in the afternoon and training in a living room I was really disappointed. Spoiled rich kid, surprised he got as far as he did as a fighter

Garcia would bring out the best in Chavez.
Look what he has done with Brandon & Maragrito. (Style)

**** it Bring in Tony to get Chavez Jr. In shape?
Regardless what you think of Margarito the guy was always in tremendous condition.

Roach is a great trainer but all that lateral movement & side to side **** ain't for Jr.
Jr. Will NEVER have the side to side lateral movement his father had EVER.
But he does have the punch & will, Make the best of what he has & send him out there Brandon style.

Will Robert have the time tho for Jr.?
I'd pay to watch Jr. & Pavlik spar tho.

Agreed, but Roach shouldn't have put up with it. He needs somebody who's not afraid to put the hammer down.

I think Garcia would be the best fit for Chavez. I consider Beristain to be a better trainer than Garcia, but I don't see Chavez being suited to Beristain that well.

I really think that Jr. absolutely needs someone to instill some goddamn discipline into him. He needs someone who is knowledgeable and has the fortitude to remind that little **** that he is nothing without his namesake. He has a chin, heart and a great body attack and not much else. He needs to be humbled and broken down. Anyone, regardless of who it is, needs to get Jr. to take this **** seriously. He has a lot of raw talent and a ton of heart, but this career is going to be short if he keeps up this nonsense. He needs to become a professional. Whomever takes over needs to reiterate that constantly. Be a goddamn professional.
