Interesting fight Davey, a match up with two big punchers who like to trade - I don't see this one going the distance at all.

I haven't seen too much of Stevenson, I've seen his knockouts of Gonzalez and his loss to Boone. He is a dangerous puncher, but from what I've seen, he looks one dimensional and predictable. He's a southpaw, with a huge left hand, but Groves dealt with a skillful southpaw in James Degale. I'm not sure what top fighters Stevenson has beaten, maybe someone who knows him better can fill me in?

Groves is a prospect I really rate, he's cleaned out the British domestic scene, beaten the current European Champion and beat a tough veteran in Johnson, who's fought at the highest level for years. I think Groves is world class, whereas I'm not sure you can say the same about Stevenson?

In picking, I admit I haven't seen a great deal of Stevenson, so I will opt for the more proven Groves by mid round stoppage

Groves just beat Johnson more convincingly than Dawson (twice), Cloud, Bute and Froch.

Bute schooled him just as well. He was never the same after the Dawson rematch! Not to mention he had retired

This is a brilliant fight for both. and they are both about the same level right now...

so it can be made... and both would be confident they can win.

Groves - cleverly is a good fight too.

  11. I can't see it going the distance either. Both have power but I feel Groves has a better chin and the ability to hurt Stevenson. I also think Groves has more solid fundamentals.

Nice break down mate, yeah they can both punch, have both been wobbled. Groves has faced adversity a couple of times and still gone on to win which is a positive sign.

If anybody has any info on Stevenson please your input is welcome, unlikesome who just talk ignorant tosh

Groves actually took Johnson to war.

Bute schooled him, Groves tried knocking him out. The only other fighter in recent years that tried knocking out Johnson was probably Cloud and he gave up trying mid fight and went back to boxing.

And there is no point posting videos of Groves being knocked down for him to get back up and win the fight by KO himself when there are videos like this around:-

Its only 8 seconds long man, might aswell press play

Groves is to easily hit. Superman is a monster puncher and not that bad of a boxer either. Groves struggled with Degale , who is pretty **** imo. Stevenson takes it now, based on the fact Groves is untested.

Anderson is now the British champ and Groves was his only loss hows he a journeyman you dick?, Groves came back and stopped Anderson for that you should give him credit rather than biastly try to knock him, be objective in your approach or dont fooking bother!!!
