Groves vs Stevenson

Dont make threads if you're not prepared to hear both sides of the coin.

To give Groves the win is jumping the gun. Beating Johnson who didn't even hit back is nothing to go on. Stevenson now is more seasoned and would probably KHO.

 

There should be another super six tournament between Groves, Stevenson, Rodriguez, Dirrel, Periban and that Tommy gun guy from Africa. The winner can get a shot at Ward and get their ass whooped.

 

Groves seems like the more polished boxer, but damn Stevenson can punch. He's a southpaw but nothing like DeGale style-wise. Groves would have to fight perfectly off the backfoot all night and I'm not sure he can do it for 12 rounds without getting hammered clean with one of those monster lefts.

Adonis by stoppage mid to late rounds.

 

Groves is better than Stevenson but that's not saying much. Adonis is an awful boxer who got knocked out in 1 round against Darnell Boone.

Groves is a league above Abumis Stevenson. Abumis is a journeyman club fighter at best.

 

Way to state an extremely subjective opinion as absolute fact :nut. I guess we'll see if they ever fight.. which I don't think Groves would ever agree to.
