The rematch should have happened immediately, the first fight was a FOTY candidate. Now it's past its sale by date IMO.

Yep, Adamek is just wasting away!

    From his last fight:

    Ive money on Adamek.

Hes grown into a full sized heavyweight, whereas Cunningham still looks like a cruiser who just isnt cutting in the last week.

Admake tried but no US TV showed interest which goes to show how irrationally bias they are against the CW division since it was ****ing FOTY quality.

True. I remember Adamek saying that no network wanted to show a rematch, there was no $$$ for a rematch & that prompted Adamek to jump to HW.

Please don't give me the impression your suggesting Adamek ducked a rematch. Why would he be afraid of USS? He dropped him 3 times!

In that article I posted, Steve said his friends are telling him this fight is too early in his HW campaign to take on Adamek, but he's got something to prove on a national TV fight & this is his chance.

Top 10-15 guys, sure. Top 30 HW's? Digging deep... Sorry, but I'd pick both Adamek and (an unproven HW) Cunningham over almost all of those guys.

I'm not saying he did duck him, it's just a shame the rematch didn't happen sooner while both guys were closer to their primes.

    Might get tickets to this

The first fight was one hell of a war

watching what these 2 men show now i doubt it will be any where near as good

I kind of expect Adamek to take this in style but you just dont know

You live in Pa.? I'm in NJ & go to all Adameks fights in The Pru Center in Newark. With it Xmas weekend, I just didn't wanna go.

If you do go, don't forget to record it (if you have a DVR/VCR) its on NBC TV & in the afternoon I believe, not 11pm like most main events.

Yeah, right on the poster it says doors open at 1pm.

Isn't this the first time boxing has been on Network TV during the day for free in over 20 years or so? And it's not on some obscure NBC affiliate either...it's on the flagship station, NBC, for everyone to watch.

I have a feeling TA will get knocked down, but will fight back to earn a comfortable UD or a late TKO.
