It doesn't matter what you post now, or for the rest of your life.

You stated that Joe was head and shoulders about Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran. Nothing will ever undo such epic stupidity.

not true. calzaghe lost in 1990. here's the proof. if you count the worthless wbo belt in 1997 then yes calzaghe had a long reign as champ & 20 title defenses. remember those veit fights? who could forget! he was the man at 168, one of the weakest divisions in the history of the sport. please name another hall of famer during the period joe fought.

Calzaghe would probably beat Peter Quillin if he were to step in the ring with him today

    why?.....bacause he made HISTORY:deal

joe calzaghe is in the history book up there with the best of the best joe louis and rocky marciano:deal

    Answer the questions

who are the 2 longest reign champions in the history of boxing?....

name the 2 best undefeated records in the history of boxing?......

What else needs to be explained?........

Okay.. so by your logic, Ricardo Lopez is greater than Slappy then, huh? Works for me.

Calzaghe is not above some of the criticism he receives on here. But his record doesn't lie.... 46-0. the people that trash him the most are usually RJJ fanboys, and occasionally b-hop fans. Calzaghe retired at his peak, and didn't spend half of his career getting beat up like RJJ did. Proud to call myself a Calzaghe fan btw.

Calzaghes resume isn't as good as it should be, but it's not entirely his fault. He was supposed to fight Steve Collins in 1999, but Collins suffered a life threatening injury in sparring and had to retire. Not even going to mention RJJ..... Because Roy ducked Calzaghe and many other top fighters during his prime. So yeah, Calzaghes resume should be better than it is.. but in the end Calzaghe proved the Naysayers wrong.

joe wasn't even a blip on the radar when jones was champ. here's the proof. a british documentary done on jones back in 2000. this is three years into joe's "great" wbo title reign. watch the documentary and tell me how many times joe's name is mentioned. joe's own people know he doesn't belong.

haha! ok, joe's never lost, ever! i'll try to post that video without the part where they raise smyth's hand so you can be happy.

in all fairness, joe looked pretty good but you can tell he ran out of gas here. he was only 18 and smyth was 20 if i recall correctly. to show how far joe was away from the elite level as an amateur during this time, here's smyth in the same year facing ole klemetsen (with headgear). it doesn't last long.
