Danny Garcia talks Amir Khan's speed.....

It is, people need to give him more time. He's what, 25? 26? He's already world class and championship-level, a few more tweaks will go a long way.

The longer the fight goes on, the more dangerous it is for Zab, because Garcia will find his timing better as time goes on and doesn't fade under pressure. But early on, Zab might have a window to feint and counter Danny's wide shots with superior speed. His angled stance allows him to lean back from left hooks well, and circled well against Paris, so if he can land something early, he's got a chance. But if he doesn't put some real leather on him, Garcia is going to come on and discourage Zab, making him move less, go to his body, and leap in with straight rights. Garcia''s not the best pressure fighter but he hits hard enough to make his leads count.

Gary Russell, Jr. has the fastest hands in the sport. Khan is up there though.

 

Khan does not have a chin problem.:-( The guy has taken some wicked shots, shots that would have bothered anyone.

He has a boxing IQ problem. He attacks to frequently, made worse by the fact that he attacks the same way all the time. He throws too many punches during his combos. That combination is a counter punchers dream. His frequent attacks also drains his stamina.

He needs to use his speed in short irregular bursts. Zab suffered from the same issues. All speed no strategy.:bbb

 

One fighter I would hate to fight is one with alot of speed. Nothing gets to you more than not being able to see punches coming at you. Amir is one of the fastest of this generation.

his speeds a little overrated. khan throws little flurries most time an sits on none of his shots. hes a quick arm puncher. fast fighter but not the fasted inboxing like some in here say. judah is faster n puts mustard on his shots

 

Bull****. Khan puts plenty behind his shots when he sits down on them, and his speed is STILL unreal. Just look how he marked up Molina's face and was repeatedly rocking his head back, and that was probably the fastest I've seen him so far. He's simply a sharp but not concussive puncher. He also easily out sped Judah himself when they fought, and Judah still has plenty of speed to spare.
