And to answer your question, I remember watching a Muhammad Ali interview afterwards where he believed he won the fight because he landed more punches, etc. So yes, he had himself winning the fight.

 

Ive seen the fight mate, and I believe you that Ali said that but he was always a great self promoter.

You could say the same after MAB-Morales II. I scored that in favour of MAB, who looked noticeably dejected in comparison to Erik. It makes no odds.

For the record, I've never scored Ali-Frazier I in Ali's favour.
