This should have happened about 3 years ago. Since then Wlad has become even more dominant while Povetkin may have declined a little, so the only outcome for me is another Klit WIN.

Povetkin shows 2 times he did not want to fight Wlad.

Great fight finally good to see Povetkin stepping it up from top 10 fighters to the real champion.

I think Vladimir is to much for him in terms of ring generalship. He will make Povetkin fight his fight and knock him out in rounds 5-8.

I'm feeling that when it's all said and done and the dust settles. Wladimir will be standing there with the longest title reign in the history.

    Sam Peter 25
    Eddie Chambers 28
    Chris Byrd 30
    David Haye 30
    Axel Schulz 31
    Jameel McCline 32

Wlad has already destroyed young up'n comers. Byrd went on to be the #1 HW for a while after Wlad has mopped the floor with him.

Wlad now has the chance to gather wins against guys like Povetkin, Pulev, Fury or whoever else and one of them will likely hold a belt in the next 5 years after Wlad retires. As you said that will greatly enhance Wlad's resume.

None of them were young prospects. Byrd was a well season pro with a high ranking in the 90's before he fought Wlad.

I he he beats the new crop he will greatly improve his legacy, i believe that too. But i also know he doesn't take big risks, so he could end up retiring before fighting these guys and be remembered for checking out when the going got tough.

What a shocking revelation by you, jisi. Allow me to consult you for future Wlad fights in case I need some free money from the casinos.

For the Brits on here crying about this fight I have no doubt that Povetkin will put up a better and more exciting fight than that ***** Haye did. Not like that is hard to do or anything :rofl:patsch

You know what, as mediocre as Povetkin is in the ring, I think he'll have his moments. He has fast hands and will try to land a couple combinations. Problem is he is pretty feather-fisted so I doubt he'll impress Wlad much.

Povetkin's handlers won't let him near a Klitschko, unless they're looking to cash him out

Peter (the first time) and Chambers definitely were. Prospect/contenders.

Babies for heavyweight, in their twenties.
