Will you be disappointed IF Mayweather's May 4th opponent is not Guererro or Alvarez?

Who would/could it be IF not "The Ghost" or "Canelo"?
(& Dont say Martinez because that **** is NEVER going to happen)

    Bundrage?
    Trout?
    Berto?

Would say Bradley & other Top Rank guys but... You know

Guererro would be a complete waste of a fight.

Robert would be a good fight, regardless what the mongloids say. Canelo is a super fight and can't see how anyone wouldn't want to see that. Outside of those, Manny is the only fight I'd want to see even though I think it would be the least competitive of the three.

This is Floyd he is fighting Guerrero but its going to be a tough fight.

K-9 and Berto would be a disappointment from your list

Heard Tito wants Oscar at 168lb no reason why Money can't get in on some of that action, get teets down to 165lb and we've a superfight.

He's running out of interesting opponents, the fact that Guerrero is the leading candidate shows this.

Floyd is going to pick the easiest fight. That is Guerrero or JMM.

I think we can all acknowledge that he's a fake ass champion at 154.

If he's not, his ***** ass needs to fight Trout or Canelo.

He can fight Angulo as his warm up.

    Ideal:
    Martinez* @ 160 - WBC & lineal middleweight champion

    Acceptable:
Alvarez @ 154 - WBC light middleweight champion
    Guerrero @ 147 - WBC welterweight champion
    Bradley @ 147 - WBO welterweight champion
Trout* @ 154 - WBA "regular" light middleweight champion

    Borderline unacceptable:
    Cotto II @ 154 - WBA #7
Marquez II @ 147 - "Fighter of the Decade"
    Pacquiao* @ 147 - "Fighter of the Decade" runner-up

    Unacceptable:
    Bundrage/Smith winner @ 154 - IBF light middleweight champion
Molina/Spinks winner @ 154 - not in WBA light middleweight rankings
Zaurbek Baysangurov @ 154 - WBO light middleweight champion

    * - unlikely, for various reasons.

Trout wouldn't sell so that would be a NO.
Cotto just lost, and we know Mayweather doesn't fight people coming off losses.
Marquez II - this would sell, wouldn't surprise me if it happened, but I wouldn't want to see another 12 round schooling and I don't think Marquez's wife does either.
Bradley - Top Rank so won't happen
Martinez - We can dream? Dreams can come true (already tied up in a fight so won't happen anyway)

Realistically it will either be Guerrero or Alvarez - I don't see any other options.

Floyd is the reason why there are no options. His ass waits like a ***** for everything to clear up and takes the easiest fight avaiable.

You are fools if you think there is any guarentee he will fight Alvarez after he fights Guerrero.

    is Khan an option?

I would like to see the Alvarez fight but I think that might be in Sept. Floyd will kill Guerrero and it wouldn't be competitive (i'd still watch as always).

Agree with this other than Marquez or Pacquiao being borderline unacceptable. You'll still talking about two P4P guys here, certainly both better fighters than Robert Guerrero.

Also, if you're handing out unlikely stars, you need to account for most of the others. No way he fights any of K-9, Ishe Smith, Molina, Spinks or Baysangurov for example. Bradley won't happen either because A) It's Arum and B) he's not really a draw. Nor do I think a Cotto rematch is at all likely now.
