Reports suggest Bhop will fight Cloud, Clev will have to fight a mandatory against Krasniqi, with the talk that that fight will be in Germany.
Unlucky for Clev not to get Hopkins as Clev would have been too young, too fast, too quick, too strong for Hopkins at the relative stages of their careers, Clev will now probably hope he can beat Krasniqi, which won't be easy if its in Germany and then get the winner of Hopkins/Cloud, will any of the top guys want to take the chance of getting into the ring with Clev ?

Lets just see how it plays out. To be honest a fight with Hopkins was a no win situation anyway.

This. That said I don't think that Cleverly beats Hopkins at this point in his career.

X can beat Cleverly but his height, reach, workrate and general youth is an unnecessary risk. Cloud on the other hand should play into Hopkins style en route to a decision. All the while that fight will happen in America and completely on his terms.

175 is another disgrace of a division. Middleweight is another one. Sadly its boxing historically significant and traditional weight classes that continue to embarass the sport.

I wouldn't say it's that bad mate. We've seen fights like Dawson-Pascal, Dawson-Hopkins, Cloud-Campillo, Hopkins-Pascal in the last few years. They're all true World title fights and the likes of Cloud and Dawson taking on tough World level fighters like Glen Johnson were acceptable too. It sounds like Cloud-Hopkins & Dawson-Pascal II are going to happen too.

Sure, Shumenov and Cleverly have to do more to justify their tag as a 'Champion' but otherwise, I think there's been some decent fights in the division recently

Disgrace is harsh for some of them. Cloud Shumenov Cleverly need to stake a claim. Cleverly is merely a contender with a belt so he brings shame onto the division. Its a shame as he is very talented and I think he might have some great nights in him against Shumenov, Cloud and maybe even Hopkins as he ages.

Hopkins is done, he's going to start putting in Johnson-Groves type performances any day now.
