Are there any British welterweight prospects coming through on the domestic scene?

Just curious if there are any light welters or welters coming through who look decent.

Denton Vassell looks the pick. Well rounded, polished fighter.

Matchroom seem to be pushing Cardle, but I've seen him live a couple times and seen nothing to write home about there.

Frankie Gavin could be great if he took the whole thing seriously. Him fighting at welterweight is to me beyond comprehension, his frame isn't big enough. As soon as he faces a half decent 147lbs guy he's going to get beat up, badly.

He'd be good at lightweight or maybe light-welterweight at the maximum. He needs to get in the gym, train properley, get a bit of extra weight off and take his career seriously. If he does then he could achieve great things.

No-one else rates him but I think Bradley Skeete is a decent prospect.

Lewis Rees is a good prospect from South Wales. used to be in the Olympic squad. not sure if he's going to be campaigning at light-welter or welterweight. be better at 140 imo

if W arren can get him more fights and step up the opposition in 2013 this guy is going places

if he was with Matchroom/Sky he'd be having great pulicity like Cardle

he's going under the radar atm unfortunately

Not sure about this 'power will come' business. Very rarely happens, kinda like 'A will walk through B.' Which again, rarely happens but is often stated.

Skeete won't ever be a good puncher but at this level he's going to be very awkward to beat.
