Ingo is a bit underrated these days. The way some people go on you'd think he was a Carnera-level fighter who landed a lucky punch on Patterson. In the build up to his title win, he demolished Cooper and Machen, and also stopped solid Euro-level opposition like Erskine and Cavicchi. The first Patterson loss ruined his punch resistance, and he wasn't the same fighter from that point. Not an ATG by any means, but a solid resume and dangerous wildcard in mythical H2H match-ups.

 

Kessler, is pure class. And it's a future Hall of Fame. I think Ward would beat him again but I want to see him do it legally in Europe.

If Nas whos only loss was to an ATG and who was considered the best in the world at the time in his weight class hasnt got in then why should a cab driver killer get in when his losses are to Calzaghe and Ward and whos best win is a close decision over limites Carl Froch.

His list of "notable victories" or "best wins" just doesn't stack up amongst HOF'ers yet, in my opinion. I love the guy, one of my favorites actually, and I think he is very close, but below contemporaries like Wonjongkam and Calderon (and there are some out there who don't think these guys are HOF worthy).
