Why do people feel Rigondeaux is more deserving of a Donaire fight than Mares?

This is pretty much the bottom line. Mares is def the man to beat right now and holds the most significance. Rigo will get outclassed and I would hate for Donaire to lose moving up in weight.

Honestly I don't see how Rigo can win.

Although I predict the fight can be potentially boring after Rigo tastes Donaire's power.

This is what I think- once he taste Donaire's power he will refuse to engage like somewhere between Nishioka and Navarez and Donaire will win an uneventful 12 round UD.

Rigo will do much better than Mathebula and Vasquez Jr. It won't be a shutout and i think Donaire knows that which is why he's been apprehensive about doing post fight interviews.

Nobody is saying Rigo is more deserving.Can't believe he gets so much hate though no other fighter at 11 fights was fighting the opposition that he was.You'd think he'd get some credit but just gets blasted for being ahead of the curve.Mares is more deserving & wouldn't mind him get a shot first but arum is not going to allow that what part of that do you idiots don't understand?Both nonito/rigo are under the same umbrella so fight is obviously more makeable When has putting nonito with the best ever a priority?lol. donaire is like Danny garcia from GB getting fed has beens & over praising him while Rigo/Matthysse get thrown under bus or to the dogs.2 Talented fighters people just want to see Rigo get a shot it's no easy win for either.
