Who takes this now? Does the 1st round feel like deja vu all over again for JMM, does he weather the storm to dominate Zab over the distance?
No offence to Zab, But JMM is out of Zab's league. Judah is a step backwards at this point for Marquez.
Zab would win by a 12 round UD if he could just use the jab and move to his right to avoid JMM's power shot.. Maybe he could knock down JMM with a counter punch.. He still has that Left uppercut in his arsenal.. Or the other scenario would be.. JMM would knock him out.. I don't know.. :conf You know, strange things happens.. :smoke
Zab gives him problems, might drop him, but gets discouraged after JMM finds his timing with the right hand while neutralizing the left and goes to his body. Depending on how well he can cut down the ring, he might stop Zab.
That's the thing.. Floyd exploited JMM's weakness.. A luxury Pacquioa doesn't have.. And now that everyone knows JMM can knock someone out, it'll be more like Judah on the safe mode.. Fighting behind the jab.. :deal
Zab can't just live of his name what has he done at a high level that give him the right to fight a top p4p fighter? That's right, nothing.
A southpaw jab isn't as useful when fighting orthodox fighters, unless you consistently turn into it. Zab moves well but my money is on Marquez's craft to counter that jab as Zab retreats just like Marquez did to Manny repeatedly. Different dynamic but JMM has fought plenty of southpaws, something like 10, and looked good every time out. Zab would likely catch Marquez reaching, and once Marquez found out what punches he was trying to use to catch him coming in, most likely the right hook, he'd trigger it to set up his own shot. Dude, its not a counter punch.. :bart Marquez throws the jab, Pacquioa missed with the right hook counter, and left himself open for JMM's right straight.. JMM goes too low with that right straight.. And that's all wrong against Judah.. Look here.. This content is protected It's not just Judah who needs to worry about getting counter punched.. :smoke Let's say he missed the counter punch.. Look at Judah's feet. He's moving to his right.. :deal
I never said that specific punch was a counter, I said Marquez was going to trigger the right hook and land a right. Zab's opponent there is stepping with bad foot positioning before Zab ever moves to the right; you're basically asking to get dropped that way. Marquez gets his left foot on the outside, and even though his head is low, it's an advantage, because he tilts himself to the left out of reach of the southpaw left. This content is protected Zab causes problems early since JMM takes a while to start seeing things and adjusti-ng, but Zab gets flat-footed when you feint him and his output drops when you go to his body. Marquez excels at both and has out-maneuvered better fighters with his feet.
If Marquez would go for the right lead, then there's a high percentage that he'll be knocked down.. Look here.. This content is protected Mayweather has his left foot on the outside of Judah's right.. A point that you consider would play a big factor.. One of the slickest guy has been caught, Marquez would not be an exception to that.. :smoke
