Khan vs Alexander is a tough fight for both, could see Khan losing that one, though I would favor him (and I dont even know why Id do that)

The difference in quality of fighter between Maidana and Matthysse is quite apparent, and this fight is only one example of that.

Spin it any way you want.... but Matthysse at this point in time is better then Maidana.

    Hes also better then Rios.

If hes better then Garcia and Khan, is yet to be seen.

Yeah, but boxing doesn't always work that way. You can gauge someone's abilities from who they've fought, but it's a style clash.

I dunno if he beats Rios tbh. I think Rios is molded from oldschool fighters and even though he's a brawler, he's tougher than Maidana.

He might be better than him from a boxing standpoint but i think Rios has an iron chin and would give Matthysse trouble.

Fair enough, to each their own. Hopefully we could see that fight someday (probably not, promoters) I think Matthysse is just as tough, to go along with being better, and would stop Rios down the stretch.

But thats why they fight it out instead of debate it out, Rios is an animal and at this point I should stop overlooking him. Its just a shame we wont get to see that fight.

I think Rios possesses something which fighters of older generations had. He has a good chin and that animal/killer instinct a lot of boxers had back in the old days.

I think his flaws are apparent but he's got a lot of time to improve. I think defense is his weakness but can be improved fairly easily with better timing and movement.

I think it would take a lot to beat him but Matthysse hasn't been in the ring yet with an animal like Rios. I think if Rios can handle his power without crumbling he would beat Matthysse. I think he's one of the guys who might end up beating him. It is unlikely to happen.

I think Garcia and Matthysse should happen, and i think it would be a really good fight with Matthysse probably taking advantage pushing the fight. But Garcia has that left hook which could catch Matthysse and i think that left hook takes out anybody. Matthysse might be used to taking power shots but i don't think he can take them like Rios can.

Ajose isn't an animal like Rios. He's a really tough guy but i don't think he's in Rios's league. If someone mentioned Ajose.

None of these guys mention Matthysse name for a reason because there the ones that have to fight him not the guy that started this thread

Andriy Kotelnyk of the Khan fight would beat Ajose. I think people underrate Khan now because he's been knocked out two times. Americans love to hate Amir Khan now. His chin is shaky and he might have brittle hands but he's a good boxer from a technical/purist standpoint.

Khan lacks defense but he did improve in the Molina fight. You could see subtle differences and defense takes awhile to improve.

He's better than Ajose and i watched him fight in person in the front row. I could see his flaws not from a video.

Explain to me why Amir Khan can't beat him?

Explain to me what Ajose posseses other than a chin that Khan doesn't. I think Khan outworks him with speed and i believe he's more of a tailor made opponent for Khan.

I think Andriy Kotelnyk is an underrated boxer. If he still had it in him he would give a lot of the top guys trouble. He would beat Ajose.

Rios and his trainer said that Matthysse is the hardest fight at 140 and I think they know a little more the the thread starter

Because he can't take a punch and from a skilled opponent he gets hit often.
