i love zab but no way in hell is he ****in with marquez. he can still pull off some upsets at 140 but not against marquez
Floyd was going for a straight right to the body, meaning his shoulder wasn't covering his chin; he didn't tilt his head to the left of Zab's body; and he telegraphed his punch because his height makes his dropping down much more obvious. Besides, lead foot positioning only counts if you're body is at the right angle, facing the same direction as you lead toes, and on the inside, the angles matter less. If Matthysse was able to land a flush straight right behind a tight guard and drop Judah, and if he can disprove the rule you just made up that if Floyd gets caught with something then everybody does, then my money is on Marquez to have success as well.
Matthyse and Mayweather doesn't fight alike.. :deal Anyway, Judah beats Mathysse.. And Mathysse is one of the guy I think, has the chance to stop Marquez.. This content is protected "If" JMM can land the same punch.. The problem is, he is not Mathysse.. :nono JMM goes low, and wide.. Judah would capitalize on that... And when JMM goes there throwing looping punches.. This content is protected Judah lands this most of the time.. :smoke
Right, Mayweather and Marquez don't fight alike either. But Marquez is of similar size to Matthysse and has a solid overhand right, and lands with much greater accuracy than Matthysse. Again, when Marquez goes low, he's usually outside of range of the left hand because his upper body is tilted leftwards, something Floyd doesn't do. He's never been caught overly flush by a southpaw uppercut. Cotto stepping in with his lead foot on the inside incorrectly off balance doesn't tell me anything about how Marquez, who always circles laterally and feints to get better positioning than every southpaw he's fought, would do against Judah. Not to mention the fact that Marquez might not even choose to fight from a low center of gravity. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUJgJb40Uv0[/ame] Again, Judah might catch Marquez, but there's far more evidence that suggests Marquez will neutralize Zab's tools than there is Marquez will get caught and dropped by a southpaw uppercut from an inferior fighter with a lacking will who's past his best.
Did not watch the video.. Too long.. Mayweather and Marquez doesn't fight alike, I agree.. :thumbsup But some of their motions when throwing punches are pretty much alike.. And I know that you know, JMM's body motion when he throws his right.. :deal He might just get beaten to the punch.. This content is protected He leaves himself wide open.. Judah's uppercut is short and faster, and harder than Mayweather's.. A question of would JMM have connected after Judah's counter punch would have been answered with "No, he's down before he connects.." most of the time..
That's Mayweather landing a left out of an orthodox stance. When landing a right hand against a southpaw, Marquez tilts his body leftwards out of reach. He's not wide open, he's a smaller target with a solid base. Theres a reason the 10 southpaws he fought, with one of them being Manny Pacquiao who has a great uppercut and fought him 4 times, rarely ever landed it, and never did with great effect. Positioning himself like that only gives his opponent the chance to throw the right hand.. This content is protected That's the same idea Floyd tried to use.. And he gets tagged..
Zab Judah is a joke,a clown and even worse he is a shot has been clown.Juan makes him run around the ring like the bum that he is before he lays him out.
ANd if its JMM, the follow-up punch would be the left to the body.. This content is protected JMM moved his body to his left side, but the not-so-counter-puncher Pacquioa managed to land a counter..
Again, Floyd lands a right to the body telegraphed after dropping down from his superior height. Marquez is throwing a straight right up top in that image after parrying the jab and hopping left. The scenarios are not analogous. And for the last time, Marquez slips tilting his body leftwards, something Floyd doesn't do. His head won't be inside that range, unless he's landing a more powerful right hand. And if he catches him, in the unlikely scenario you seem determined to emphasize, why are we assuming that's the end? Judah isn't some beast finisher, Marquez has never been stopped, and always takes away his opponent's best weapon away. He's feinted, triggered, and then countered a southpaw right hook countless times. Why wouldn't he do it to Judah? Mistake on Marquez's part getting too aggressive throwing a left to the body out of position. Why post one knockdown instead of broader patterns within his fights against southpaws? And again, he got up didn't he? You expect Judah to finish him?
Judah's right prevented Floyd to move on his left side which adds power on Judah's right hook.. And look at Marquez here.. This content is protected http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mu.../pacquiao-marquez-fight-photos/content.3.html Judah would definitely capitalize on that.. No doubt.. And don't be surprise if he'll manage to score some KDs.. I don't expect him to finish Marquez but he'll be ahead on points by "IF" he could capitalize..
Mayweather simply never tilts his body leftward and doesn't pivot while ducking under shots the way JMM does. It's not like Judah is going to magically hit every fighter that chooses to do so, there are different ways to get a low angle, and a shorter fighter has more success doing so. A picture doesn't prove anything. Any boxer can be photographed throwing wide. That punch is the 3rd round knockdown that Marquez set up with a feint. He was wide but didn't pay for it because he neutralized Manny's offense through feints. Judah is also susceptible to feints. He was getting confused by Vernon Paris on spots late in their fight that way. Vernon Paris. This content is protected Left hand feint, right hand follow through after triggering the right hook. Much more like Marquez. Looking at the broad toolset Marquez has used to deal with a variety of southpaws throughout his whole career, nothing suggests Judah would out-maneuver him or consistently tag him without eating harder shots himself. You're taking isolated incidents and failing to translate them into a fight between Marquez and Judah in a rather blatant attempt to put Marquez down.
