Will Lucas Matthysse end up like Marcos Maidana?

Broner would beat him if he can take a punch from Matthysse. Broner will fill out and improve as the years go by and has time on his side. Matthysse won't get that much better.

That's just a weird thing to say since Maidana hasn't "ended up" like anything yet. His career has stalled but he's far from done.

I agree and with this new trainer I see him doing alright.

Anyone who thinks that Mathysse is not the real deal doesn't know much about boxing. He has the potential to be great. He's much more than a crude slugger. The way he can cut off the ring, chop guys down, The way he places punches, and his accuracy. His aggression is calculated, not wild. He simply knows how to fight, and he is like a well-oiled machine. There is a reason no one wants to fight him. He's the best at the weight, and no one calls him out.

 

Broner has ATG potential, but I don't know if he could beat Mathysse at this point and time.
