I guess we can all agree fighting in Finland on neutral ground was only fair??

I had it 7-5 to Kessler which is the same as one of the judges so yes to me it was a close fight, in fact there was a few rounds that could have gone either way which would likely have gone to Froch on the scorecards if he was fighting at home.

As for the compubox numbers, is this the official site?

    http://compuboxonline.com/news.php?news=CompuBox-Analysis%3A-Ward-vs.-Froch&news_id=183&start=0&category_id=2&parent_id=2&arcyear=Y&arcmonth=M

Froch vs. Kessler -- While Ward romped over Kessler, Froch suffered his lone loss via unanimous decision in Denmark -- a verdict Froch hotly disputes to this day. One reason for his rage are the CompuBox stats, which show him out-throwing and out-landing the local legend.

Froch out-landed his foe 224-193 (overall), 114-96 (jabs) and 110-97
. However, those edges may be a byproduct of Froch's higher work rate (Froch 80.1 per round, Kessler 56.8). Besides home ring advantage, Kessler could also lay claim to superior accuracy as he landed 28.3 percent of his overall punches to Froch's 23.3, 25.9 percent of his jabs to Froch's 19.9 and 31.2 percent of his power shots to Froch's 28.4. Also, Kessler's power punches landed with more authority and he was the more consistent aggressor, factors that could have won him most of the closer rounds.

The figures are from the link, isn't that the official compubox site?

Is this the figures you are referring too as being posted here?

Relax man, there's more to it then that obviously. All fights are calculated in terms of money. Just because Bute wants this fight, doesn't mean he'll get it right away even with a clause. Everything happens for a reason.

Don't be one of those weak people that turns on their fighter during a rough patch...

Boxrec arent official punch stats lol.

Anyways I scored the first fight for Froch and I wanted Kessler to KO Froch going in to the fight.

Im gonna favor Froch for this fight aswell. If Froch can stay disciplined and box behind his jab and not get into a slugging match he should win this

The boxrec numbers was there shortly after the fight. Personally i wouldn't trust the compubox numbers. They seem off and was made subsequently to hype the Ward-Froch fight.

Great fight. I was worried Froch/Bute II would impede this, but it looks like wisdom and finances will prevail.

    Froch beats him this time.
