OK maybe but Broner has never been in with anyone of JMM's level, Marquez has been in with several people above Broners level.......and won!
all speculation for now but like I said it will come down to age, and lets not act like Marquez doesnt get hit, he cuts and swells easily Broner is the fresher of the two and doesnt have issues with cutting or swelling and has a solid defense
If it's now then its 50/50 IMO. Broner's size, youth, athleticism and skills will give him a BIG advantage. Marquez has experience, ring iq, and great skills to his advantage, but his age could be a disadvantage. One more thing that could be a big diffrence is that Broner is a hungry fighter, where as Marquez, already accomplishing his long wanted goal doesn't have much to prove and would most likely NOT be as motivated as he was in the Pacquiao fights.
Pacquiao is younger than Marquez as fast as broner and hits harder and JMM handled him nicely every time. Broner gets hit plenty too, Ponce didnt have any problems touching him up.....and JMM cuts and bruises have never stopped him before.....sh1t he performs better when he gets busted up a bit lol
Very good point Motivation is going to be a factor here, But I do have another thing to point out, Sure Marquez did the un thinkable shocked the world. Did what most didnt see coming. However look at Mannys fights from Mosley on forward, Manny has slowed down allot, people fail to realize this because they are too busy making excuses saying Mosley ran, Marquez didnt win the 3rd fought more defensive, Bradley didnt Beat Manny he was robbed etc.... Reality is all of that happened why? why in three fights in a row did Manny NOT look like Manny? not only has he cut back on his Strength and Conditioning but he is older keep in mind he fought Barrera the first time how long ago? I am not discrediting Marquez here, but when a fighter on that level slows down like Jones did, it usually makes for an opponent like Marquez to look like a God..... The status of Pacquiao is what Gives Marquez that look.... in Reality Manny has slowed down and is settling into his age I believe if Bradley rematched Pac instead of Juan you would have likely had the same outcome , Youth will be a Huge asset for Broner going in

Lets not forget that Marquez has been on the declined as well...hell, in that 4th fight, i think Marquez looked the slowest he has ever looked, aside from the Mayweather fight. Not just thtat, but Manny was looking sharp as ****, the best he's looked since the Cotto fight.
Broner is good, but he would find out in this fight, that copying floyd, and actually being Floyd, are two very different things. He has a chance now because of the decline of Marquez and the mans age and only because of this Otherwise at 135 or even 140 5 years ago, he gets his ass taken to school
Thats a very very tough call. For some reason i lean slightly towards Broner though. I have a feeling his style might cause Marquez problems. But like i said its a vey tough call. Almost 50/50 fight.
