    Yes they can, who else orders the fights. They have entered them into negotiations and gave them a deadline to come to an agreement. You obviously haven't a clue how it works so you should quit trying to correct me.
    Te fight will go to purse bids? Thats exactly what i said numbnut. WBA gave Wlads camp a deadline because Bontey is stalling. I posted the quote as proof.

    No, the WBA gave both camps a deadline to find an agreement. Standard procedure, this happens with every mandatory defense in boxing.

    If both camps are unable to find an agreement during the free negotiation period then the WBA will set a purse bid. The highest bidder will organize the fight. The last two times Povetkin was set to fight Wlad K2 won the purse bid by wide margins.

    I linked to my thread which contains quotes from none other than Kalle Sauerland (i.e. K2's counterparty) in order to give some credence to my statements. Why haven't you posted a single quote to substantiate your own claims? :hi:

    I have yet to see him say anything good about a current boxer, makes you wonder why he even joined these forums.

    If they really have to wait till February for the purse bid, Wlad should take an interim fight in February. Pulev if he can get him.... if not Boystov or Fury.

    WBA won't allow that they said. Looks like Wlad - Povetkin will happen around end of May, beginning of June with no interim fights, according to Kalle Sauerland.

    I have said nothing derogatory about the man. This fight should be done and dusted. Fight fans should of seen it and i dont see the fight getting made next.

    Madball you're telling me something that i have already said myself except its the K camp who are stalling. This came from the mouth of Bountey himself.

    Incorrect. The previous two instances Povetkin was slated to fight Wlad it also went through the same process. WBA deadline for free negotiations between Sauerland and K2, then purse bid.

    This time is no different. So far the procedure for Wlad vs. Povetkin is business as usual my friend. Move along.

    I thought they were still negotiating. Wlad also just had a fight in November. So it´s not surprising that they want to postpone it a little. I think we are going to see the fight soon. So just be patient.
