Everyone's going off about how Juan landed the "perfect shot"? As if Juan hasn't landed perfect shots on Pacquiao before.

But It was a perfect shot. But then how do you explain the first knockdown?

Pacquiao a year, 2 , 3 years ago would have never been knocked down by that shot. We've seen Pac hit with countless bombs, shots he didn't see coming, shots he ran into , from bigger fighters.

Juan has only only managed to *wobble* Manny 1 time in the last 3 fights, and this was for about a split second after he caught Manny in the air with a left hook in the 2nd fight, in which Manny almost immediately recovered.

All of a sudden he drops Manny with a reaching overhand right, and a short right cross that Manny walked into?

The muscled up Juan from the last fight hit Manny with his best shots and could hardly make him flinch. In fact he hit him with the identical shots he caught him with in this fight and Pacquiao just shrugged them off.

26:10 - IDENTICAL punch in the 3rd fight to the first knockdown

    Pacquiao eats it up.

Did Marquez suddenly increase his power ten-fold since the last fight?

Apparently the argument is that he sat down on his punches more in the 4th fight. I don't buy it. Has anybody seen the last 3 fights?

Are you seriously telling me Juan never sat down on his shots before?

Are you seriously telling me Juan has never walked Pacquiao into gigantic right hands before?

If that's what your saying your either lying to yourself or you have a foggy memory.

The fight ending shot maybe would have knocked down a Pacquiao from a while back, or maybe it would have wobbled him, but not KO'd him cold . I doubt it. Pac has had one of the most reliable chins in boxing for almost a decade. And Marquez has simply never been a 1 punch KO artist. Not even Nacho Beristain could believe what happened .

Just ask yourself how likely it is that guy who's never been a puncher, knocks down not once, but twice a granite chin opponent - Manny Pacquiao, of all people?

So I'm sorry Marquez fans. I know you want to believe that Marquez always could have always KO'd pacquiao and he simply walked him into the pefect shot. But that' just doesnt coincide with reality.

The KO is the result of countless wars in the ring and the gym that Pacquiao has put his body through -- AND Marquez landing a perfect, well timed shot like he's done many times in the past.

If I'm wrong then Marquez has increased his power ten-fold, and anybody has a right to be suspicious of that.

The reason he knocked Manny out is because Juan stepped on his foot and hit him when the round was over

What's the excuse for the 3rd round one too, that was a more clear case of his chin degradation IMO

Pacquiao did trip on his foot and "fall into" the punch, which may have been the root cause, but we've seen Pacquiao take huge shots off balance / mid air / literally running into punches and he's never been hurt like that, not in the last decade or so.

Manny was real close to going down the first time that 3rd round shot landed 8 years ago. Slightly more torque and accuracy gave that extra push. Manny made the mistake of reacting to that feint by moving his front foot first when moving backward-fundamental error.

A chin (along with power) is the last thing to go on an aging fighter absent a previous beating. Unless you're suggesting Bradley somehow rocked Manny's world. The KO shot was just one Manny didn't see coming and Marquez got full leverage on. Could happen to anyone.

It wasn't the same shot. Marquez threw it a little more looping and not as straight in that 4th fight, and Pac was not lunging in like in the 4th fight.

    BIG DIFFERANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, yeah, yeah. Marquez sucks. Pacquiao took it easy on him, he was winning, he converted into an evangelist Christian, he was having martial problems, he was worried about politics in the PIL-I-PEENS. Whatever man!

Look at the fight again Marquez foot got into position first. Manny stepped on Marquez foot and tripped up. That's part of the sport, go look at all their other fights and see how many time Manny and Juan step on each others foot it happens. Not one of the two ever complained. The round wasn't over when the punch landed.

Go learn the sport and stop making Pinoys look like idiots, they are good people.

More of this bull****? No chin degradation. The 3rd round KD was because JMM hit Pac with that perfect punch more than once.

I don't know about the perfect shot, but it was definitely the perfect plank.

It's the exact same shot from the 3rd fight (check the link I posted). Marquez was reaching in with that punch with Pac moving away. It wasnt just a balance issue, he was legitimately hurt / stunned pac with that shot. There's no way Pacquioao would be knocked down by a shot like that a while back.

@ 26:10 There is a diffrence in walking into a shot and not see it coming and clearly see it coming.

Please accept defeat. Marquez is the better fighter.
