    But no, im not hating on Wlad . Im annoyed the fight hasn't happened and because they are both wasting fight fans time against useless opposition . Look at the quotes and facts and put two and two together

    Reading between the lines. K2 probably made Povetkin an offer and Povetkin's team probably turned it down thinking they will get more if it goes to bid. K2 may have felt they offered Povetkin what he was worth and don't want to risk the purse bid process.

    Sound about right CHEF? :D

    Could be. My theory is that Sauerland wants to win the purse bid (which they failed the last two times) before going forth with the fight.

    Kalle Sauerland (Povetkin's promoter, not K2) said there'll be purse bid in January/February and the winner of the purse bid gets three months to stage the fight.

    Is that a non-truth? :deal
