there has allways been alot of haters on Kessler...
Just remember Kessler has fought the best in smw,and lost 2 fights....one on cuts (behind though on every scorecard),and to Calzaghe who also nailed two hall of fame´s in Hopkins and RJJ...He has never been knocked out,and he would have lost an UD if it wasn´t for the Ward ref.
But you can allways hate or find something about fighters you dont like....
Kessler is from europe,and will NEVER be a superstar in usa,because they only belive there fighters are sublime...Kessler had a long layoff during to his injurys,and start his come back with a stoppage of the french guy,that AA just fougt,and after that moving up to LHW and Knock the **** out of Allan green...And now knocked out Brian magee...So he is ready now for the big guys...Some of you dont know boxing,its very normal to take some "warm up fights" before fighting for belts....

In the ideal world Gatti and McGuigan should never be in the IBHOF. And the fact that Virgil Hill got in and not Dariusz Michalszewski is mindboggling and shows an unpretty bias towards yank fighters that does not go well with a Hall Of Fame with the tag INTERNATIONAL.

i don't know if Kessler has done enough to get in, but if the bar is set by Gatti and McGuigan he should get in fairly easy.

 

The guy won world titles as high as middleweight.

The fight against Hearns was at light middle.

People move up in weight. It happens. Mayweather started at 130.

That doesnt mean, hes "blown up" at 147

 

I wouldn't say Kessler is a HOF yet but his rematch against Froch is a big plus to either man's claim.

 

Kessler is a much better and more accomplished fighter than someone like ricky hatton

 

Kessler has had a solid career.

The fight with Froch will be a make or break fight for both of them as regards long term legacies go.

At the moment,they are both on a fairly even keel.

Kessler has only been beaten by the 2 best SMW of his time.

Froch has also been beaten by one of them,and has the razor close decision loss to Kessler.

Both can easily claim to be at least 2nd and 3rd best in the world, for quite some time at SWM.

 

Kessler is an Iron Chinned Warrior.

 

Kessler and Froch are the two big stars at SMW, and this rivalry is going to be legendary, I can honestly see it being a trilogy.

Kessler went to Wales to fight Calzaghe, went to Oakland to fight Ward, is coming to England to fight Froch, trolls like Scar and whoever can else can **** off :deal

 

They are going to be in much more exciting fights.

In the same way that Berto and Ortiz are in much more exciting fights than Floyd.

Still though, we all know who the man of the division is.
